Home safe but sleepy! It was a great 5 days. I got to go the the Tech museum and I saw 4 Christmases and i went to a surprisingly exciting Tech Baylor Game. The players still looked beat down from last week as did the fans. I had to yell at our section (which was in the endzone next to the tunnel) to stand up and yell when we were desperately needing a touchdown. They all surprisingly stood up when i asked and started yelling. That touchdown turned around the game. After the game the players ran up the ramp by our seats throwing their gloves and arm bands up at the fans. Brandon Carter (man kind, the one with the mohawk, tattoos and all the kiss makeup ) came off the field last after most fans were gone. He reached up to slap my hand as he left the field and i started to drop my purse into the ramp. i moved my hand to catch the purse and he laughed and gave me his skull cap! It was so cool. All the fans were jealous. It smells very bad by the way!

once you get a reputation as a repeat offender your stuck with it. i think they have your dl flagged so that every time they run it they are notified of your constant disregard for the law.
as much as i want it to happen i don't think the aggies will beat ut, but that's okay because tech has the head to head with ut. it all really hinges on whether osu can to beat ou. hopefule after this weekend everything to right in the world or at least the important stuff.
I can top your repeat offender incident. The Frisco police actually came to my parents house TO ARREST me!!! Turns out, their automated system had an error 4 years ago when I paid it and they still had me as "un-paid" in their system for a speeding ticket!!!! Good thing I wasn't at their house! David took a picture of the warrant they left...I'm sure that'll come back to haunt me. :)
My car has it again thanks to my $200 battery. seriously i had been bothered by the fact that my turbo didnt seem to work for about the last 6 months. i had no idea my battery was winding down in life. once they put the new one in i started driving around everywhere having fun and trying not to get pulled over....im just thankful to have it die here and not on the way to lubbock.
tech didnt have the get up and go. i knew from the moment they stepped onto the field in the pregame coverage that we were doomed. the ou players were jumping around crazy and we kinda sauntered onto the field. im seriously still waiting to hear that the o line had the flu... oh well we all lose sometime.
i feel more get up and go this week as i dont feel so sick anymore. i did have a terrible headache yesterday morning but today pretty good. i just have to teach two days and make the preparations to hit the road. im in no hurry to get there just to relax and wind down from the craziest 3-4 months.

Felt really bad wednesday, rolled out of bed and made myself go to school. Got there and two very cute financial advisors are at my door. not the day to meet two cute guys when you look and feel like poop. made an appt for today. looked cuter, one was out sick. the other came and i now have a 403b retirement account. we flirted. i wanted him to ask me out but the bell rang. saved by the bell, i think not. he said he would come back with my contract soon, so maybe?
Rachel is signing me up for self defense class. that is good.
weather is cold that is good, but not cold enough to freeze junk im allergic too. maybe soon though.
three more work days and im off for five days! going home, turkey, football, fun. just one more day and ill be able to sleep my cold off this weekend.
pretty sure there is a terrorist living across the hallway. think hes getting evicted soon. wondering how that will play out. someone has been having a good old time breaking glass bottles on the stairs at night. not much fun to find in morning.
got pulled over by a cop. i rolled through a stopsign. stupid stop sign shouldnt be there anyway. he let me off since i am a teacher and was going to be late to class. but he talked to me like i was 4 and lectured me in a very jerky way. he called me a "repeat offender" because i got a speeding ticket two years ago, and then a year before that. repeat offender? at least i just got a warning...
found two fraudulent charges on my credit card where two companies are charging me 20 a month for services i didnt sign up for. will have to dispute it. researched online and these two companies are doing this to a lot of people and people are having trouble stopping it and getting money back. so be aware. they are- at home rewards and Privacy partners
just got an email from a company claiming to be paypal and claiming that i need to reenter my credit card info to reactivate my account! DONT FALL FOR THIS. my mom got scammed last christmas. paypay does not send emails because they need your credit card info. the freaks are out there this year in full force. watch out.
that sounds pretty lousy... I'm still wondering why someone would call anyone a "birch." Does the student hate trees? Or is there another word that rhymes better?

i would but Friday night Ollie is testing for his yellow belt and saturday i am having a garage sale and john and i are going to king tut (we had to reschedule b/c evan was sick weekend before last). maybe john will let me go with yall on sunday?
