The year is almost gone, but there is still so much to do and see. The halloween party was very much fun out at Harding Lake especially the food and hot chocolate!! See pictures here:

Jess and I are running the 25k this Saturday. That same day is Lacy's PC bridal shower:-) A few days of rest, then off to DC and NY for a fun birthday trip. Do you believe it...I just might have a great b-day this year:-) I am so excited! The next week is Thanksgiving and the next week is December???!!! There is more fun stuff planned for Dec...but I need something to post about for next time! Hope all is well with my pleo friends!
PS. Our Gospel meeting at Benchley is Nov. 9 - 14th with Steve Fontenot at 7:30pm. Hope to see you there!
a 25k? WOW... do you run the entire time?? Hope you have a wonderful birthday! I'm going to NYC Dec 11-16!!! Can NOT wait!!!!! Holy cow...a 25k... it would take me FOREVER! YAY! So maybe I won't be running with you....I sure can't hang!!!!!!
no, no nina! it's supposed to be funny. dont let my pleonasters in on the fact that it's cause hes all old and sickly. it's just funny. ;) but yes, poor clyde. i love him.
by the way. you look gorgeous in the pic on Jessicas page. but i guess you would look amazing after having just RUN A BAJILLION MILES!! oh wait, that doesnt make any sense at all. yet you looked soooo pretty! ;)
Thank ya! I can't wait to see pictures from your trip. I'm so glad you're having a GOOD birthday this year. :)
I saw Tyler at church Sunday and he was so cute. He fell asleep with his little hands behind his head like he was too cool for school. SO CUTE! He was just kickin' it.
at least for a short time. Well, my run was better that I imagined it to be. I finished the very hilly course in 2 hrs and 4 mins. I was grateful for the encouragement along the way since I felt like walking the last 3 miles! The next run is a 25k on Nov. 8th in Huntsville. I am hoping that I will have a running buddy for that one (hint hint jekeshay), but anyone that wants to come cheer us on is more than welcome! I think I'll probably take a break after that one.
We had a great time on our trip. It was very relaxing. I did catch one huge fish and so did several others. I really enjoyed spending time with the family and my very good friend that came with us. See pictures here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2007316&l=5ef9c&id=1345441827 (Sorry, I still can't put links in here)
I really enjoyed seeing some old friends at the SS Fundraiser. The event was very well organized. Those that put it on should be very proud!
This weekend I'll be traveling again, next weekend is trick-or-treat time, and then it is November. Can you believe how time flies?
Hi, Nina! I'm glad to hear from you, and find myself on your friends list, and vice versa. We enjoyed a trip to McKinney recently, too, and were glad to put Richard and Pauline in their new house in our minds. That's a cute picture of Tyler ^. I hope he's doing well. You sound incredibly busy! We're looking forward to Thanksgiving in Alvin with my family and our kids (except Luke's family, who can't get in from Florida for Thanksgiving). Take care!
YAY! I'm about to run my 1st 5k. lol sounds so piddly compared to a 25K!!!!! lol I've been doing about 6 miles in an hour...but I walk some of that.... lol maybe we can run together sometime! ;) Keep up the good work!
I miss you too!!!!! I am not running the Goofy any more in Jan...I feel like a loser ..but it's just best that w/ all going on I don't stress about both the half and the full marathon. But I am still training for the half! I need your help though!
I know I know....not enought time. I was thinking we had Sun. afternoon to hang, but then I got sick. I'm sorry you didn't get to see the house or have Tyler play on the trucks :( Good luck with you run! Hope to see you soon!
I am so glad you came to the fundraiser! It was a surprise to see you again on Tuesday! I didn't expect to see anyone I knew, and I ended up seeing A LOT of people.:)
It seems I have been very busy lately...actually all summer long. We camped two weekends ago at Canyon Lake and got to see some old friends, and of course play at the lake. Tyler had a little party too. This past weekend was a great study with some wonderful women. I really enjoyed that. Tyler and I just got back from visiting his great grandparents in McKinney. It was nice to see that side of the family since we usually only get together at Thanksgiving. This weekend I am running a half-marathon in Huntsville, then leaving for MI to see the fam and go Salmon fishing for a week. That next weekend I hope to go down the SS Fundraiser in Crosby and see some old friends! There is more scheduled for November, but I'll save that for my next post (something to look forward too!) I know this was kind-of boring, sorry! Hope all are doing well...I am doing great!
Whew - you are one busy woman!!! A 1/2 marathon??? WOW! And here I am all proud of my 5k. lol Sounds like you've got lots of REALLY FUN stuff goin on! *hugs* Keep us updated on everything... and umm...pictures would be good! ;)
How could that be boring? :) So busy! I think we're going to be at the SS Fundraiser. Hopefully, we'll get to see you there. We got to stay at the Kings' house when we "evacuated." They are so sweet!
this awesome weather! It has been perfect running weather for sure. If if will only warm up a touch for our last scheduled lake trip next weekend...we'll see, I may not go in the water!
And, can you believe it...Tyler will be four in a couple weeks. Boy does time fly...whether you are having fun or not:-)
Where are y'all going camping again? Sorry I didn't get to say bye! It's kind of crazy sometimes with two little ones. :) Especially since Ryan has been gone during the week. Oh well, hopefully that will end soon. It's supposed to be in the 60s in the morning on Saturday and Sunday. And warm up into the 80s.
There was slight breeze this am as I was running...but it is hard to imagine that in the next 24 hours weather.com says we should have 50 mph wind and squalls of rain. Sounds fun. We'll see if they are right! Everyone be safe.
EDIT: 10 am -they were right. So far it is up to 40 mph sustained wind with rain and it is supposed to get worse by noontime.
EDIT2: 5 pm -The wind seems to have died down now. We are still getting rain, that we really needed.
I was excited about some fun wind and stuff, but I don't think we'll be getting that much over here. AND I was hoping they'd cancel my class tonight, lol, but so far NOTHING. :(
I heard you are coming this weekend to San Antonio! How exciting! I think I might be going with Kristen to the pampered chef party, because I think she's doing Mary Kay there too.
Ladies Bible Class is NOT the same without you. But I know you're doing really well over there! Can't wait to see you this weekend though.
