pleonast.com: nornie

In fifteen years of marriage Chris and I have never painted a room together, until this weekend. We did really well and the children behaved so that we could work and finish on schedule. We painted our office/media room a "lovely" blue. (Abbey) I love the color and it looks grat with all of our UK decor. All of the children were really impressed and like the change, which is rare because they do not like change as a general rule. All I have to do is purchase a new curtin and a few things for our new desk.

I have an announcement. Abbey is offically potty trained. YEAH!!! She is doing great and it had been so easy. I do not stress over potty training nor do I judge my parenting on at what age my children are potty trained. She was ready. I was ready. I told her if she was going to have a birthday party that there were no more pull-ups and that's all she wrote. She is so proud of her self. I just have to say Kate's M&M method (Jon and Kate plus 8) worked like a charm.

We are gearing up for Amelia's 1st brrthday and mucho family coming in towm. All the grandparents will decend upon us on Friday, so there is much to be done. It is going to be a busy week.

memers	Give Abbu a bit hug from Meme for going potty. May have to buy her some undies. Praying that we are on the way Thrusday am. Took the car to Auto Zone yesterday bacause it wasn't starting just right and we had to get oil so Miter Jim could change it before we leave and the battery was bad but it was still under warrenty so I got a free battery. good luck!!! Going to get two new tires today. IKE better behave so we can come. Love you all!!!
trishie	I need to paint my bathroom still, but I'm dragging my feet. There is so much to do in that little room! Yay for the potty training!
dancewithme	First time painting a room together? Oh how my husband wishes that were true for us! I have painted my living room four times in 2 1/2 years, the kids rooms have been painted twice each, my room once, the main bathroom has been painted twice, the kitchen three times and the hallway upstairs three times! The family room and three other bathrooms have only been painted once. ;) I don't necessarily love to paint, I just LOVE change!! :D

First steps

Amelia took her first unofficial steps yesterday then she took her first four official step. The first two were unofficial because her Daddy was not home yet and we make the rules so we get to say what counts and what does not. ;)

She climbed up on the couch yesterday. Oh, we have our hands full.

She also had NINE teeth before her first birthday. I think that is some kind of record or something. I am pretty sur she is cutting number ten.

I will have a birthday post next week for my little "Melia Bug"

memers	My Melia Bug is just amazing. Keeping an eye on the storms. Lord willing we will be leaving on Thursday morning. I did call Expedia and we can have our money refunded if the storms keep us from coming but I pray that is not the case.

Home Safe

Chris arrived home about 12:45am. The children were very glad to see him this morning. We are thankful for his safe trip and his safe return.

I am getting ready for company {Nancy|ryanandnancy] and the children are coming to spend the night with us and we are going to take the kids to WDW tomorrow. I and my family are going to miss them so much when they move to TX next week, but wish them every happiness and frequent visits.

lauraroseborough	I am so happy to hear that Chris made it home safe and sound. I bet those kids were happy to see there father. Also its a small world...I know Ryan and Nancy. Ryan and I went to F.C. Camp for some years together and then I finally got to meet his wonderful wife before they started having kids. I am happy they are moving back to Texas. But enjoy your time with them and I know they appreciate you guys letting them stay with them. Tell them I said hello. I am not sure if Nancy will remember me but its been a long time since I have seen them last. Have a great week and tell everyone hello for us.
lauraroseborough	Oh and thank you for the sweet comment you put down about my last blog. It was scary to come up on something like that but my mind was focused on the people who needed the comforting and the calming down. I drove by the area (on the opposite side of the road) yesterday evening and from what I could tell there were know memorials, so I will want to go put one up.
