haha, well just for you I uploaded the latest picture of the progress on the bath tile. It is super hot here so my husband has been reluctant to work on it, since he has to cut the tile in the garage with a wet saw.
I'm pretty terrible too about getting projects done. I start things, then start other things without finishing the first. The kitchen may be almost finished, but the breakfast nook is still dark wood paneling! And I have plants out front that are still in their Lowe's containers.

Thanks! I joined the grocery game for their $1 month trial but I only used it the first week and didn't find that it helped me much. Everything that was on there I found and I did it and got my shopping done before she even posts her info on Monday night. I just do it on Sunday afternoon and go shopping on Sunday night. Everything is still available and it's in the flavor or variety that I want. I just cut out coupons and match them up with the deals. That's pretty much what I do.
I would love to join. Can you get me invited please?!?! My hubby's income got cut 20% and so being frugal is the way of life these days. Gotta do what you gotta do right?!?!
The storms woke us up at 2:30 this morning and Rick turned the tv on to see if we had to start getting worried, but after 5 minutes I was like, "okay, unless we are about to head into our crawlspace can we go back to sleep please?"

Where do you worship in Fairview? My mother-in-law used to worship at New Hope. Then in 2003 she had a stroke and went to an assisted living in Franklin. She died this past July.

We have Tornado sirenes all over the place here in KS. We have one in our front yard, they are so loud no one misses them. The South has shown that it needs these systems in place. You guys have had more storms than we have. But weather radio's are great. We take ours with us everywhere we go. But your hubby's police radio should pick up more than the TV!

Thats cool! No, Marcus worked at FC but Verizon is a lot better! My dad, brother, and me all worked at Market Street so hopefully something better will come along! This just must be a time of trials for everyone! Praying works though!

Hey-sorry I didn't get to call you back. Peyton's naps have been cut in half for some reason this week and she only naps an hour...and Cooper is teething and has been getting up every few hours. So, I'm dying over here. Thank goodness for coffee (: Besides Barney-anything really. Dora, Elmo, dress up, and she loves painting and coloring. She's easy-just something cheap. I love having the option of being private! I discovered people were reading my blogs that I had no idea of and getting offended by things I wrote years ago!!! It was terrible! Now I have a better idea of who is reading what!

I have only done 3 cakes for money. The one that I posted today I got paid for. I started that one yesterday after lunch and with all of the breaks it tooke me only about 6 hours. I was rusty with the roses so part of it was my own fault. He liked it and one person asked if I did wedding cakes. I may have just dug a hole...
