We had a song and prayer service last night...and it was all about prayers...we read scripture about prayer...prayed a lot...and sang about prayer....and then we had someone come forward that is definitely an answered prayer!!!

Favorite Christmas Movie?

Well...it's that time again...time to start watching Christmas movies....
what is your favorite Christmas movie?

**I am listening to Christmas music at work today ;) As I am getting out my Christmas decorations for my office :) I just love pandora...I am listening to christmas music as sung by Gas House Gang and Vocal Majority :) WONDERFUL DAY!


lyndie	Oooh, it's a toss up between It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas.
karalei	I love The Christmas Story! I love Rudolph!
be_with_me_lord	It's a wonderful Life or Rudolph. I get to see Zuzu every year at a craft show in Denver. She is the sweetest person.

sparky	The Year Without A Santa Claus...It is the stop-motion from 70s with the Heat Mizer and Snow Mizer.
lochnessie	Ella will probably stay here.
lochnessie	I have 3 movies that I cannot miss during Christmas time -- The Grinch, Elf, White Christmas.
lochnessie	(I hate Rudolph, by the way. It scares me.)

AWESOME WEEKEND!

I had a simply marvelous weekend! Here is what it consisted of...

* No work on Friday :) Woke up REALLY early and drove to KC to meet up with my parents.
* Drove from KC to Little Rock! Long drive.
* Got to hang out with my grandparents, brother, sister-in-law, niece, 3 cousins, 3 uncles, 2 aunts, and my parents. We had so much fun!!!
* Thanksgiving dinner with my family on Saturday. YUMMY!
* Football outside with the family
* Jumped on the trampoline with my cousin, Madeline.
* Took lots of pictures
* Played with Emily - she's getting so big - will be 4 months next week - wow! She is smiling a lot and holding onto toys and putting them in her mouth and she was so good all weekend! Didn't even hear her cry :)
* Church at Fairview Park in Little Rock on Sunday morning.
* drove back to Raymore on Sunday afternoon.
* Church in Raymore, MO - where Ryan Boyer preaches. It was great to see the Berends while I was there too :)
* Drove back to KC, dropped off my parents, then drove back to Columbia. Got back late...and I'm REALLY sleepy this morning!

* Mizzou won in football!
* OU was off last weekend.
* Mizzou won the first round of the NCAA tourney in soccer but lost in the second round :( Congrats to them!!

It will be a short work week - heading to Oklahoma this weekend for some football :) I can't wait to be back in Oklahoma!!!

lyndie	So if you had Thanksgiving with your family already, then this means you're cleared to put up your tree! Woohoo!! Glad you got to go see your family and spend some time with your cute niece! Where's the pics?
beckylboyer	Great to meet you too! Ruth was so excited to see you! I'm always happy to meet some of her church family from Eastside. She misses you all!

flowerchild82	Not going to Big 12 Championship because we a.) have birthing class all day long, and b.) it's two weeks from the guess date and we don't want to venture outside of Columbia after Thanksgiving.
nancyjo	Aww, I love Ryan and Becky Boyer (and their two cute kids)! I used to worship with them at Vivion Road in KC.

Random post!

*I'm going to Arkansas this weekend to see my whole family! I can't wait!

*I need to do laundry

*I love Tuesday night Bible studies with my Christian sisters.

*Work is hectic this week - sometimes I don't like being a boss :)

*I love fall!

*It's supposed to snow this weekend!

*One week until I leave for Oklahoma with him!! I haven't been back to Oklahoma in two years!!!

*I get to go to the OU/Texas Tech football game!

*I get to go to the OU/Iowa State volleyball game!

*I got to see the OU volleyball team this past weekend because they played at Mizzou :) I love walking into Hearnes and hearing my name yelled out by the OU volleyball coach and to see him running towards me to give me a hug! Ahhhh, it made me miss OU volleyball SOOOO much!!!!

*I got to see and hang out with Mike this weekend...that was fun! Saw the new Indiana Jones movie...it was good.

*Summer's baby shower was this weekend...it turned out beautiful!

*I get to see my niece this weekend!!!!!!

*I love "hugs" it is white chocolate hot chocolate. Mmmmm.

*Time to get back to work!

Things....

Well...let me think what's been up lately????

* Gospel meeting with Ferrell Jenkins all week on evidences - it's been great :)

* Planned dinner with the Lee's for Brother Jenkins and all the college kids...it was great fun!

* Made baby shower gift at Vanessa's house with Nikki, Vanessa, and Preston. That was too funny! :)

* Cleaned the church building

* Shopping at Walmart with Preston - fun times there! :)

* Halloween party at the Hill's house...fun stuff.

* Corn Maze with friends on Halloween night too. It was a lot of fun, minus the scary green machine who was lurking around every corner. Anyway, team fro won!! Yay for us!!!

* Sarah Palin Rally with Susan, Summer, Preston, and Casey. That was suuuuuuuch a blast! We left at 6 am and stood all day during the rally :) It was fun...but we were tired. There were bands...Hank Williams Jr showed up and performed...and Sarah Palin showed up. Her speech was so great! I got great pics...I will have to post them on facebook...but I have some posted in my galleries on here.

* All-in-all a great week. Watching the Office right now...then, I will get right back to watching the Sweet Adeline competition! Yay for internationals! After Saturday, I will no longer be able to wear my medal on the ribbon :( Sadness. I'll miss that green ribbon...but time to pass it on to the new 5th place chorus. Hopefully next year in Nashville we will place even higher :)

blessings_of_a_mom	I have never sang babrbershop before, unless you count what we sing at church, but I have always loved it. When the chords are hit just right, you can feel it. The music can carry you away, and you can express yourself as you have only dreamed of.
