It's one of those Saturdays where I just want to go back to bed. I fell asleep on the couch last night and finally went to the bed at 3am. I woke up on the couch when I heard on of the cats moving their food dishes adn I realized that I hadn't filled them that evening so I knew they were empty. I got up and fed them and went to bed. Now I am just waiting for Kevin to take Eleanor somewhere on their "daddy date" and I'm gonna take a nap. Hope everyone else has more energy than me today!!
That sounds about like I've been feeling all week. Thursday, I even came home from work & went to bed- I slept basically straight through till the next morning. Today, however, I have all kinds of energy! Hope your energy levels increase soon!
Why is it I'm tired all day and could go to sleep at anytime but now that it is 10:30pm and I want to go to bed because it's TIME, I'm not tired! *sigh* I may just go read for a bit and that should make me kinda tired.
I do that too. I think it's because I *have* to be up during the day, but when evening comes, it's *my* time. The house is quiet, the work is done... and I finally have some time to myself... and I can't sleep. So, I usually end up reading a lot (and getting in some Bible studying too... although that comes under the reading part as well).
This happened to me last night, too! Although I think my main problem stemmed from drinking DP at 7:00 at night. But I thought it wouldn't matter since I was up all night with the baby.
Oh wow. I sure will. SO many on pleo needing prayers here lately. What a wonderful thing that word can spread so fast so that so many can remember them to God!
Okay, I FINALLY have a funny toddler/church story! I've been waiting!! :D
One of the songs we sang this evening was "Are You Washed in the Blood?" We were singing it and I was standing and holding Eleanor. Every time a question would come from the song, Eleanor would say "No! Hahaha!" It would go like this:
"Are you washed" "No"
"in the blood" "no"
"in the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?" "No!"
I was trying to sing but laughing so hard when she would say it because it's true! :D Because I was laughing she would say it and then laugh really hard!! It was soooo funny!!!
Do you remember that Mr. Payne often asks a question in his sermons? Sometimes a child in our audience will reply, "NO!" or "Yes!" depending on the question :)
I thought so...don't know too many "Peyton-Leigh's" :) I actually ran across a pic from that banquet we all attended together a few weeks ago. It's been a long time and I feel really old! lol
