Hi Lawanda, your girls are so beautiful and Britt looks exactly like he did the first day I met him...he was all of what, 3? Only he's taller ;) If you see Tina W., tell her hello...I was thinking of her the other day.
I think my mom mentioned that about Chris's dad and Mrs. Black. That's great! BTW, Jaymar is in Iraq at Al Asad. He left a few weeks ago with all of 45 days notice and an indefinite return date...Hopefully they will be back by mid-Dec!! Well, tell your Aunt Tena hello for me! :)~
LaWanda, I just looked at all your pics on your previous posts. It made me sad because time does fly way too fast. Gabby is entering her last year of elementary. I can't believe it. She was baptized this summer. While these are all events to rejoice over, at the same time, they remind me that life continues on whether we are prepared or not. Your kids are absolutely beautiful.
I LOVED the book! I cried my way through a lot of this book. Though not everything in it was what I could go along with, I felt it explained the trinity very well! I too recommend this book, it really WILL change you, you will NOT forget it!
Some very good friends of mine, Jenn and Matt Schmidt are now on pleonast.
Please go to their blogs and welcome them.
Hopefully we can convince them to post some pictures of their beautiful children!
LaWanda, if you get time, check out my blog and answer my questions if you can think of anything important to add. It's been fun seeing your sweet kids at skate night this summer. Erin especially.! Tell her hello from me.
If only the gas lasted as long as the milk! It takes us two weeks to drink a gallon of milk around here (since the boys left home). So, at my house, it would be more cost effective to stop driving!
I guess we are on the low end... Gas as of yesterday was 3.79 at chevron 3.73 at cheapie AM/PM and milk was 2.98 at Neighborhood walmart. It's 3.00 at Safeway for milk..
3.88 at the 7 Eleven down the street from me. 3.93 at the Chevron I usually give my money to. I'm OVER high milk, and I'm OVER high gasoline and I'm OVER this election and I am SOOOO OVER this MYSTERY ILLNESS I cannot even make you understand!
I didn't teach it to Noelani for the same reason. I could just see her singing it in Bible class and her teachers going to the elders to make sure we get talked to!!! So we won't be learning that song!!
I haven't made that one yet. I was shopping for two weeks. I think I might be making the one with shallots tonight, though. I'll let you know how it goes. :-)
Hm...I tried to find a "Chris" after I saw your comment. I couldn't either. Tell Chris that if he wants a cartoon guy he is going to have to change his facial hair. :)
Hi LaWanda! Good to hear from you. I am a pleonast newbie thanks to Aprile. Thanks for saying hi. My vote is we stop driving and just ride bikes everywhere ha ha. Just kidding. Take care.
It was awesome being there. Today Noelani was begging me to start teaching her math and reading. Since she's a flower girl tomorrow and we were getting her dress ready and getting ready for the rehersal it just didn't seem like a good time! She didn't understand and she asked "Mommy do you still like me?" and I said "YES!" and she said "Than why won't you teach me today?" and I said "We are getting ready for the wedding and today we just don't have the time for school" and she said "After the wedding, I think we need to make some time for math!" Gotta love it!!!!
Hi :) I have three kids, all boys, and one that's close enough to being a teenager that I figure I need support now, lol. He's 12, and I've got 2 little ones that are 5 & 6. We live in Texas, and have homeschooled since my oldest was in second grade. Nice to meet you!
Hi, I wanted to let you know that I emailed the picture of Britt and Erin walking at graduation. Did you see the slideshow of Krista on my? Jessica took the pictures over the last year. Juline inspired me to put it into a slideshow. I can't believe we've made it though the year. Allen is still trying to finish his three classes. Both Krista and Allen said FLVS Algebra is very hard, so we aren’t taking Math through FLVS anymore. Krista finished all four of her FLVS classes. She is so happy to be done with her classes. She is going to take Spanish II this summer. She didn't like it very much and wants to get it over with when she doesn't have any other classes. Have a great day.
Funny that you should post. I must have a 6th sense because I kept thinking about the meeting you and Juline at Starbucks and wishing that we could do that anytime we pleased all morning long yesterday.
Big changes in your life. How are you holding up? How does Jen like MN?
