Know what's real fun? Listening and trying to take notes on a conference call while your boss is three feet away, talking on another call.
Yeah, not so much.
I'm sooo ready for this weekend. I have Monday off (woot!) and it's Augustfest (more woot!)!! We're celebrating birthdays for my bro, Ken, and Nate, which means there will be much X-box playing, Mt. Dew drinking, and maybe even some bowling.
Work is boring, as usual. But I'm pretty mellowed out from vacation, so I can't say I care too much. I could do with a nap, though. |

So, I recently remembered this little incident from my childhood and thought y'all would find it amusing:
I'm pretty much convinced I was super OCD as a kid. Everything had to be even - whatever I did with one side of my body had to be done with the other. If I didn't, this feeling of lopsidedness would bug me the rest of the day.
So, it's second grade and we're all sitting cross-legged on the floor, getting ready to listen to a presentation. As I'm getting situated, I accidentally kick the girl in front of me with my right foot. Now, I couldn't very well go around all day being uneven, so I did what any other sane 8-year-old would do.
I had to kick her with my left foot.
Yeah. Trying explaining that one to your mom. |

Having a good time, but very very tired. Will be home on Saturday. Should have pictures posted soon...ish.
How's your week? |

I think this may be one of the most disgusting foods I've ever seen: Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburgers.
Yeah, you read that right. A bacon cheeseburger squashed in between two Krispy Kreme donuts (or do you prefer 'doughnuts'?). It makes me shudder.
In other news, I don't know how much I'll be 'round here next week, as my flight to Texas leaves TOMORROW!!!! Kindly pray for my safety and, Lord willing, I'll be back home on the 23rd! |
