I'm getting excited about all my family being at my home for Thanksgiving. We're having a house full of people visit. The best thing about it all, of course, is the fact that Lauren gets to visit for the first time since she left in August.
Just got back from Memphis, Fort Worth, College Station, Houston, and Alabama. Had a great time visiting all concerned! Glad to be home but I do miss my little girl!!
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehear. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 6:4-8
My friend Sarah's daughter, Sandlyn, has been diagnosed with an agressive cancer for the second time. We need to fervently keep her and her family in our prayers. She had surgery a few weeks ago to take the place off of her head not thinking it would be cancerous. They were blindsided by this outcome. For more information on her situation, please visit www.caringbridge.org/visit/nathanandsandlyn. She updates often.
Trust in the Lord always and He will carry your through.
