Chillicothe's Chipotle Mexican Grill will host a free burrito day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11. Customers need only bring their appetites to receive a free burrito and a soft drink of their choice. No strings attached.
we pick erik up on Wed. the 10th so he'll be glad to know that he'll get a free burrito when he comes back... we should tell him its a welcome home party
I've been feeling much better today. I even made it out of the house and went to the store with my dad. Thanks to Randy for all of the respiratory therapist advice. My lungs are still not 100% but I have been able to be more active today without wheezing like an old geezer. :)
Quinton has developed a problem while here. A severe one. It's called diarrhea of the mouth. I've never heard a child talk more than he has been talking the past few days. While I am thrilled that his vocabulary is growing, ourears are in desperate need of a rest.
Not much to say...I've pretty much been sitting around, talking to the folks, and watching Noggin for the past week. Quinton and Zion have been busy killing monsters with hair brushes. That's pretty much it. :)
I'm enjoying my visit with the family. But I really miss my husband, sisters, and Chillicothe family. I wish mom and dad would just move down to C-town. That would solve all of my problems. :)
I'm starting the Bob & Marie move to Chillicothe campaign. It would really make life easier, Marie. You'd have instantbabysitters. Plenty of companionship. And a lot less snow :)
We had a nice Thanksgiving yesterday. Lots of family, friends, and food. The three F's. :) It was especially neat to get to spend the day with Raylon's 16 year old biological brother Demetrius. None of us (except for Mom and Ray) had met him before and he was a sweet boy.
My recovery is slower and more frustrating than I thought it would be. My lung capacity seems to be quite diminished. I get out of breath walking from room to room sometimes and yesterday I attempted to put Quinton's shoes on and almost couldn't finish. I don't say this to complain. It's just amazing how much I took my health for granted. I am definitely going to start to APPRECIATE my ability to breathe. I can't imagine having something like COPD or emphysema.
I'm not sure how much longer I'll be staying at Mom's house...but I know that she has enough food leftover to sustain a small army for a month. :)
It's been a fun 3 days...but I am finally home from the hospital. Turns out I am a walking cess pool of infection. I had double pnemonia, double bronchitis, and infection had spread to my blood and my kidneys.
Surprisingly I felt o.k. until two days ago. And I actually feel pretty good now. They sent me home with bunches of antibiotics and steriods. I guess I'll be heading up to my mom's for Thanksgiving.
Thanks for all of your well wishes, prayers, and even visits. And thanks AGAIN to my sisters and especially my husband for everything they've done for me while I was incapaciated.
glad you're home, sorry you're sick! i understand though, you need the doctor to give you a bunch of pills so you can sell them for profit. we all do it.
I just saw a car on Gulf Road -- license plate was "POOKY." Thought of you, naturally! Hope you're continuing to feel better and that you're getting some strength back!
