Yesterday was sophie's third birthday.
Mom and dad were in town so we decided to take Sophie and Maggie both to PetCo. It was fun taking the dogs..i tried not to be embarrassed when Mom and Dad held maggie up to the toys and let her "pick" one out.
I'm doing well! I was sorry I couldn't make it for the camping trip last month, but I'm looking forward to Trevor and Julia's wedding and then hopefully I can make it to Little Rock for the April workshop!
Thanks! He's just this awesome guy I married! We've lived 40 miles away from each other our whole lives and gone to the same camp, and he was at FC the year before us, but we never met until his brother was in BG. Tell Sam HI. We had lunch with Logan and Stephanie a couple of weeks ago.

when I take my dog to petco I let her pick out her own treats, Philip is like "She doesn't know what she's doing!!!" but i think she does. She always picks out the same treats!!! LOL. :D
I hate the computer solitare that tells you when you've lost. "there are no more possible moves..." window pops up and just takes all the fun out of solitare. I want to find out that i've lost on my own! its midnight, but i've vowed to win a game before i go to sleep. im 0/4 right now.
I've recently read a good book, "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I recommend it to anyone who would like a good book to read. It's fictional and very clean! I doesn't quite match up to Stephenie Meyer's work, but is a close second. It is also similar in the fact that when you read the summary it sounds kinda bad (teenage vampire love..?!) but its GRREEEAT!

Bought three new cd's today.. Sara Bareilles- "Little Voice" , Adele19(neat new artist!!!), and Ingrid Michaelson- Be Ok (she's one of my favs right now.)
Sam's been gone for a few days for a work conference. he comes back tomorrow. I really miss him.
Update on Amber- She's moving into a new appt this weekend. She's received a lot of outreach in the form of comforting words and gifts from her Christian family. How fortunate we all are!!!!!
Carrie lives here now..i love seeing her on wed and sundays!!!

I went to go see Sara Bareilles in concert this past week...she was awesome. I've had Sara's and Ingrid Michaelson Cd's forever now and I love them. I think I had Sara's cd even before she made it big on the radio. Good stuff. Have fun in NYC!

As I sit here on my laptop with wireless internet, watching my satelite TV, in my king-sized bed, eating a snickers from my shopping trip earlier this afternoon... I am reminded that I am blessed.
My friend, Amber Murrell, taught me this lesson clear as a bell. She helped me remember how much we all have..and how fast it can be gone.
Saturday morning at 0500 Amber woke up to a smoke alarm. Her 10 appartment unit was on fire. She was able to get her keys and phone and run out..but unable to get anything else. Then heroically she went door to door to make sure all of her neighbors were also awake and out of the building.
She just kept saying "its all gone...". So quickly too!! I know Amber would love support, encouragement, prayers, and anything you could do to help. She's asked me to share her address for anyone that might need it....
