Wondering why the common taters are saying we're the underdogs for next week, but I'll take it. Florida is pretty awesome lately, and I'm always more comfortable when we're the underdogs, for some reason. I find my distaste for Florida lessened since Spurrier is gone. Of course, I still hope we trounce them thoroughly!
It's been a great Thanksgiving break, filled with food and sleeping and reading and just hanging out with the fam. Would have been nice if I'd finished those research papers, though. Too much Beta Club stuff interrupting. They'll all be finished within the next week, though, even with the Can-a-thon deadline on Thursday. Maybe.
Heard Black Friday was even more crazy than usual. By the time I got up, I'm sure all the good stuff was gone. C'est la vie!
I wanted to like it. I didn't expect to, but I wanted to. And I tried to, really I did. However, I found myself laughing at inappropriate places and having running Statler-and-Waldorf kind of dialog with myself. I'm still ready to see the second one. However, the best part of the evening was definitely the HP HBP trailer at the beginning. July is a long time away!
YES TO HBP! SO. EXCITED. And yes, it was cheesy. But...I have to admit that Rob's acting was phenomenal. In my opinion, anyway. His portrayal of Edward was so close to what I'd pictured it was scary!
Keeping in mind that they made more on opening night than it cost to make the movie, I thought it was superbly done. The next movies are going to be so much better because of the budget increase alone. This was such a low budget movie.
I was really impressed with how close they stayed to the books too. I know a few details were a bit off but for time sake I'm not sure they could've done it any different unless they made the "Twilight Saga" be about 5-6 movies long. I can't WAIT to see the next one :D
We laughed at a few things that otherwise wouldn't have been funny, too. I agree that what they make off of it should allow them to have a better budget next time, so looking at Edward will be even better next time. ha ha!
...yes, it was quite funny. I have never been so glad to change clothes/wash my HAIR/wash my FACE as I was tonight. My feet are killing me! Oh, yes, and tomorrow is Saturday! What a great reward for such a hectic day! :) (you were a great director!)
I agree, I mean there are SO many movies that could be made that way and still have great special effects (that don't have anything to do with racy content!). The first kiss scene is a little intense (well, it was in the book, too, so I thought it stayed pretty true to the story that way, and you were still able to breathe that sigh of relief for Edward's strength in the situation! ha ha! I better hush, I'll give away too much.) I kinda felt that way too, with my expectations initially being high but then after reading/hearing about it before I went, it didn't have as negative of an impact on me, and since I knew it was probably due to the budget, and director, etc. it didn't bother me - like I said, I'm just a sucker for the stories (how do I come up with these puns? I kill myself...oops, there I go again).
Awesome and nerve-wracking! I thought I was gonna lose it when we ended up in overtime. But of course, the Tide came through it (but not without alot of screaming from yours truly, first! ).
*Woke up without the alarm clock (7am)--stayed there 15 more minutes just because I didn't have to get up
*Drama workday went really well--and paint was on sale!
*Robotics did well, even though I didn't get to see it

*Tonight we get an extra hour of sleep!
*Rooooollllll Tide!
No, I did not watch the Texas/Texas Tech game...and didn't even get to listen to the Bama game - I did not do the pay-per-view, but I was SO excited (but not surprisesd) to hear the score of our game AND the other one! :D
yeah. basically. see, ashton isnt really a guy so its ok for him to be in dreams, but other random guys at school... thats just obsessive. dontcha think??
