I hope y'all have a great Thanksgiving. Eat plenty of wonderful food (but don't explode) and enjoy time with family and friends.
I'm down in Alabama this weekend with Jason's family. Came down yesterday (Wednesday) and will leave on Sunday after church. Tomorrow Jason is going hunting with his dad and his mom and I are going to go shopping (yeah, we're crazy).
Then Saturday I don't know what I'm going to do. The big Auburn/Alabama game is this weekend and I'm not sure if I'm gonna stay and watch football with the Auburn fans (I'm not sure of their reactions) or if I'll go somewhere with the ladies (I think they're going to a movie). I'll decide then.
Anyway, not much else going on with me. Christmas is soon approaching and I've gotta finish shopping!!! Keeping busy at work- 5-6 days a week either on the wellness floor or lifeguarding (or both) and my gymnastics classes and kid fitness classes. I've been roped into being the coordinator for the Jingle Bell Jog- a one mile run/walk for kids so that will keep me busy for the next couple of weeks.
Christmas for Kids is coming up in a couple of weeks and I'm so excited about it- I hope that I will be on the same bus I was last year (requested the bus driver) and I convinced my mom to volunteer with me this week.
I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend! Love you all!

The concert last night was purely awesome. I love the Grascals- they are such entertainers when they are on the stage... and their fingers/hands/arms fly so fast on some of their songs it's amazing. They did one instrumental I was just tired after listenig to it... but it was so awesome.
And Ronnie Milsap- I knew the man had a lot of hits but you don't realize how many he's had until you see him perform. It was like "oh I forgot about that one... and that one... and he did that one?" He sang his song "Lost in the 50's" and then a he and his band came forward and sang some do-wop songs that were amazing. Then he ended his show by singing "God Bless America" and it was really awesome when he got to the first chorus how the audience all stood up and started singing along. That was too cool to me. :-)
Anyway, today I'm off to North Carolina for the weekend. Jason's grandparents time share a condo up there so we're going up for the weekend with them. Hopefully we won't have to drive in the rain the whole time!
I hope you all have a great weekend! Don't freeze in this temperature drop we have coming!! Enjoy the fall leaves while you can!
Me
I am a huge fan of the Grascals- an amazing bluegrass band. They're the ones I got to see down in the cave and I've seen them a couple of other times too. They are so much fun to watch and they love what they do.
So, they're doing a concert Thursday night here with Ronnie Milsap for the 650AM Listener Appreciation concert. My parents won tickets and so I was still trying to win tickets. When it came across the radio to call in now my mom, my dad, and I all tried to get through to win me tickets. Picture this: I'm sitting in the dining room with both my mom's and my cell phones (one on each ear) trying to get through. Mom was on the land line and dad was on his cell phone and when dad's cell phone got through he handed it to mom so she had two phones too. Long story short- I won tickets! :-)
Seriously if you like bluegrass even a little bit check out the Grascals- they have some amazing music!
CARL EDWARDS WON THE RACE YESTERDAY!!! He's got two races to make up 100 points to win the championship- I THINK HE CAN DO IT!!!
This weekend I went down to Alabama (south of Birmingham) to meet/visit Jason's family. We had so much fun. It was about a 5 hour drive one way and we left Friday night and met his family at Longhorn steakhouse. It was origionally supposed to be just us and his parents and then his sister came in town and his aunt and uncle and his grandparents and it turned into a group of 10. Then on Saturday his cousin threw a big halloween bash where the theme was 1920's. It's hard to describe our costumes but I'll try to post pictures soon. :-)
Then Sunday went to church. Came back today. Very tired... but a very fun weekend.
Um... not a whole lot else going on in my life... work and driving to and from Brentwood... tis about it but I love it all!
Take care of yourself and get out and VOTE!!! (I gotta find my voters registration card!)
Yeah, i didn't get registered in time. Although, if understand the way it works right, i don't think it matters whether i vote or not being as how thoroughly blue Maryland is. It's a well named state, don't you think?
