I just paid $1.61 per gallon today!
(Thank you Kroger card!)
With a car that has a 12 gallon tank and gets 38-40 miles per gallon...well, Texas here I come!
Woot, woot.
Please pray for my dear old Pops... he fell and has hurt his arm rather badly. He is having (outpatient) surgery on December 2nd.
Mostly, I think he's just plain annoyed at himself for having fallen in the first place.. anyway, please remember him!
It's SO cold here. Even snowed a little last night!
Lord willing I'll be moving back to Austin around the end of January...yep...yeah, yeah. Of course by that time all the friends I've had for so long will all be married and probably have 5 children, but I hope we can all still meet up occasionally!
Speaking of children...
can't wait to get kisses from ALL of them! Especially you!
I love that gas is finally back down to a reasonable price. And, even though I don't live in Austin anymo', I'm still psyched that you'll be moving back there! :D
go here..seems to be making the most sense these days!
i know it helped me get re-centered. so thanksya randall :)
now, i just hope he doesn't delete that entry or this one will be kinda pointless. hehe.
my parents, heather and silas came to visit a couple of weeks ago. it was really fun, but too short! luckily, thanksgiving is coming oh so soon and i get to hopefully see them and then some!
as well as get even fatter from all that deliciousGrandmaGrandmotherness..
does anyone have a suggestion for a good year-round houseplant?
preferably somewhat small, and pretty... i get bored of ivy really quickly. :\ so something floweredy!..hmm?
i've conquered these games in the past month on super nintendo:
sunset riders
teenage mutant ninja turtles 5 (turtles in time)
tiny toons adventures: buster busts loose!
currently working on.. yoshi's island.
i am also in the middle of reading this jr. high series from the 40s-50s:
and it's wonderful! i highly recommend it. but probably not to boys, just because. it's a little too cute.
Now I have to leave my blog up! It's okay because I never have anything to blog about. I've had really good luck with plastic plants, they seem to stay pretty healthy year-round.
I had a dream about you last night! It was January 30th and you were on your way to Texas and you were gonna come to my wedding on the 31st. I was pretty excited
it might be heather and marmalade and silas..we'll see. i'm pretty excited. so is silas; he wet his pants several times today and i know it was from sheer excitement at his first road trip.
You REALLY don't want me there. I got sick last night, too. It was meant to be, I guess. It was gross, too if you know what I mean! OXOXOXOXOXOXOXO Ya'll have fun!!
Well, thank you thank you for all the birthday wishes forever ago!
:) My birthday went swimmingly.. Adam threw me a surprise party. Adam tried to hide it all that day, but he's not a very good liar.
Which is a good trait, I think. The party included nice people, strawberry cake (yum),
"Pin the Kitten Into Reba's Loving Embrace", and a Super Nintendo Tetris tournament.
It was wonderful. :)
Fall has begun! This morning when I went to work at 6:20 it was in the 40s and now it's in the upper 60s. It's AMAZING.
I'm slowly, maybe not so surely, trying to create a website.
Eep!
Hopefully next weekend we'll make it to Karen's wedding by catching a ride with David and Rose...where I will see Laura!
I could write a whole paragraph about being excited for this occasion. But instead I'll just leave it at that. :)
I miss my family somethin awful. But we are planning to all
get together on New Years, just in time for Pop's birfday!
It'd sure be nice if some of them came to visit me sometime, though...hmm..
They always pull the "gas prices" and "kids on a long trip" card, though... mmhmm. :)

I have vacation time scheduled for next week, but if Poppyseed can go, I might change my mind - whew, that's a fast trip. Move here and solve that problem for me :)
