I never recommend movies. I am sometimes amazed at shows and movies that people will openly talk about watching. I took some kids to see it and even the teenage boys liked it. I think every married couple should see it. Yes there are things I don't agree with but overall I think it's great. It's so refreshing to see something positive on the big screen.
I have heard several people recomend that movie. If nothing else, I'd like to go see it to support someone trying to make a good clean movie. p.s. How are you?
I met Barry's grandmother in Martinsville, VA. Gene held a meeting there last week. She took us out for supper Wednesday and we got to talking about all her connections to EH. I was trying to remember if her two daughters (Diane and Pam) were in my classes when I came in 2005. I do sort of remember the names...at least Pam's.
My boss recommended this movie to me, we'll have to see it. They say it's made by the same people who made Facing The Giants (I think was the name of it) and it was good.
I can;t wait to tell Neil (ask your dad who it is) that you're a Cubs fan. He came over and watched the post season with us last year and this year. This last Saturday night I had a vacuum sitting in front of the TV! Ha
Girl, you remind me of your Mother. Does she still love baseball? My Mom use to go to games by herself while Dad was at work. She loved it too. Wish she could still enjoy cheering for a team. I miss her enthusiasm. Hope your team wins. :)
Brownie said nothing was wrong with the disk I sent you. I do have a Mac computer and I put the disk on Word. If we come over to Embry Hills one Sunday night, I'll bring you another one. I want one of our teenagers who is a new Christian to see some of the friends she made from camp. See if your Dad can get the disk to work. I had wanted him to write me a review to put on Spiritbuilding. Hopefully the book will be in print sometime this month.
It's almost over but I couldn't let the day pass. There are no words to express my love and admiration for her. She has weathered some strong storms in her life but has come through with a strong love for God and has helped many others who faced some of those same battles. When I was a teenager living in England I had pictures of her on my wall instead of some famous actress or singer. I am so thankful to God for her example.
we did have a few with major water damage/flooding and some roof damage...there are several who live very close to the water. yes, for me the trees were a very sad loss.
I'm just now reading this! Whoa, Nancy said it best...what sweet sisters I have! They are the best!I LOVE my "Sister" bracelet and wear it often. By the way, the phone messages this year were particularly fascinating....one was accompanied by a guitar, one was multi-family, one was solo, etc. The kids especially enjoyed hearing it, and singing along with the various renditions! Thanks for all of you being such a special part of all of my birthdays! I love you all! :)
