so the wonderful drug known as prozac has been helping me alot lately. its helped me better express emotions that im not used to feeling, or ones that i had trouble expressing before. like anger, and annoyance. so it makes me wonder some things...
what do you fear? what are you afraid of? what phobias do you have?
what are your pet peeves? what REALLY gets on your nerves?
and what gives you the creeps and the heebie jeebies?
ill tell you mine!
1. i used to be deathly afraid of dolls. and i had claustrophobia. lucky for me, i slept in a very dark room, with two shelves of porcelain dolls facing me. i freaked out, and i got over both! now, i have two phobias that are paradoxical but nonetheless true. i have isolophobia and commitmentphobia. thats right. im afraid of ending up alone/being forgotten/BEING alone, but im also afraid of making commitments to anything and anyone. it involves more than just relationships though. im afraid of buying a new car, getting a new job, moving, anything that involves a long-term commitment. its stupid, but if you want a better explanation, the best one i found was on wikipedia.
2. there are really only 3 things i can think of that really annoy me or get on my nerves. the first is being ignored. i HATE being ignored. sometimes i can understand it, but when i directly address someone and they ignore me, it really gets to me. the second thing is people who wont do what is necessary to help themselves. like, people that continually go back to a relationship/wont let go of a relationship that is only hurting them. people who are hurt by a type of person but keep going out with the same type of people. last, people who are irrational and won't let go of things. it happened in the past, let it go. whats done is done. move on.
3. well i dont know about ya'll, but one of the things that ALWAYS gives me the creeps, no matter what, is decrepit little girls. the grudge, dark water, the ring, silent hill, F.E.A.R., gothika. what do these movies and games have in common? a decrepit, creepy, half dead girl in a night gown. it seriously always gives me the chills. and this next one, you'll laugh at. you know how nails on a chalk board, or a fork rubbing on a plate, or grating metal, gives you the chills? the ones that shoot up your spine, make you tense up, make your neck do that weird bendy thing, your nipples get hard, you feel hot and cold at the same time, you shiver? yeah well no sound does that to me. but one thing does.... foam. when i feel the foam from the egg crates you put on top of a mattress, or cotton balls, or even some tissues, i get uncontrollable chills. even THINKING about it, or seeing someone else do it, shoots them up my spine. i've started sweating before because of it. and guess what? most of the stuff we ship here at my new job has foam in the bags. its awful.
well if you read through that, thanks. hope you enjoyed it and that you've been informed. answer all or any of them you wish, on here or in your own entry! peace out.
