Construction is progressing rapidly... A dozen Meskins can accomplish a lot. Yesterday and as of noon today, they had all the walls framed--inside and out--and some of the rafters in place. Looks like they are doing a good job too. I feel sorry for them, having to work in this 95 degree heat and humidity.
I celebrated THE FOURTH by going to a parade and short program in Downtown Crockett this morning, eating a Reuben sandwich at the Moosehead Cafe, and going to Walmart. Then Peewee and I really celebrated by taking a nap. My cellphone woke me up but Peewee is still asleep.
I am enjoying this RV park, although it is a little too primative in some ways. All the sites are dirt and the drive ways are gravel. The TV cable is poor but at least the WiFi continues to be excellent. There is a little restaurant here. It is very clean and has a back porch that overlooks the lake. I ate lunch there yesterday and sat and watched the lake. What I had was very good.
Gotta run now. My tiller is on my yellow trailer just outside my door and I need to take it to the storage building.
