Well, since school is just about over, i plan to post some of my work. don't worry, I won't post my writing homework...I dare not burden you with that. Anyways, I think I have learned a lot. I made a few really nice pieces of drawings and also some pretty cool pieces of graphic design that I'm proud of. so here goes a sample to get you eager to see the rest....:
This is logo is used for this, which is for a letterhead, and also for the letter envelope itself, and also a business card. We where given the prompt to design our own "client name" after we designed the graphic part. so I came up this Quint Lars... and I did the Motivational Speaker part because the graphic element of a guy inside of a q gave me the feeling that this person does something that empowers people.
oh...btw, this is only a portion of that much needless white space from the whole piece. It's actually like 9" x 4"
im doing really good! school & everything just like you.. lol you remember those college classes i was taking? well i got a 100 on both finals which gave me a 98 in one and a 96 in the other for end of semester :) nice, huh!
Well...things have been going good. I'm very satisfied that I am almost done with my first term of school and that I was able to handle it. Though, I wish I was more up to par, with school. I struggle with writing and well, it is discouraging when i write something and have a sense of pride for it, but then I get my review from the instructor where I see that no, it wasn't a good paper after all... Oh well...
Don't let it get you down-you're a smart cookie! I'm proud of you for pressing on even when it gets tough! If you need help with writing, that's kinda my area.
You are a gifted artist. I was amazed at the drawing I saw at the singing. We each have our gifts- and we have to keep working hard in all the other areas to get rounded out. You will reap what you sew, so hang in there!
Just stick with it. College is a great opportunity to grow and get better in all sorts of ways. It's also one of the best times of your life for spiritual growth. ^You should take Kathi's free help.
