So I'm really enjoying my new job as a probation officer. I get lots of opportunity to really help people get back on the right track. Right now I have been in training for about a month but I go back to work on Dec 5th. When I get back I'll be doing lots of court reports and interviewing kids to see if they are eligible for probation. My co-workers are great, my boss is great and Napa is also great. Its also nice being only 25 mins from Berkely and only 30 mins from San Francisco. alright then. bye
25 minutes from where I work. Tight! I'd like to go to that concert. Not sure if I'll go for sure, but I'll check tickets out and my schedule this week.
Obama is president, and although I did not agree a ton with either candidate I was glad to see that Obama won. I thought McCain and Palin were a joke and unprofessional. It was hard for me to admire them as possibly becoming our nations future leaders.
i think mccain's concession speech showed the mccain that everyone loved originally. too bad he didnt show that during the race.
im a registered independant though, i am still hoping to get past this 2 party system thing.
My cousin Eric was baptized to tonight! Also, God blessed me with the opportunity to be the one to baptized him. He has been having a lot of health problems lately and he just got out of the hospital today after being there for a week. We have been having religious conversations off and on for about the last 10 years and I'm really happy that he has decided to give his life to God. Please keep him in your prayers as he is a new Christian and is still having health problems. And lets all be thankful for the blessings God gives us! The least we can do for God is give our lives to him!
