I recently saw the movie about Marie Antionette...played by Kirsten Dunston. I never knew Marie was such a character. I think probably misunderstood by her peers. Seems she was a free spirit, much frowned upon in those days I guess.
Interesting though. I hope to read more about her and Joan of Arc. Fun Fun Fun!!!!!! I would love to quit my job and stay at home and read!
hey, I didn't know you were on here till a couple of days ago. Didn't we tell you Sunday about discovering that one of Ellens good friends was probably Erics daughter? Its true and mama has helped me post the lineage if you are interested HERE.
I found a sweet pattern for a Soda Can Cozy and made one last night. It works up so fast. Now my Mountain Dew cans do not have to be naked. They are nice and cozy. :)
Been thinking about adding some Fairies to my flower beds. Nikki has made a Fairy Garden and it looks so sweet. If I can find any, I plan to scatter them around the flowers...peeking their little faces out here and there.
I have been reading S. W. A. G. ( southern women aging gracefully) and she made the comment that she had more energy in the fall and winter. That is exactly how I feel too!!! The cooler weather energizes me...heat zaps me. And the older I get the more zapped I am. I can think of more things to do than I will ever get done...mostly because I tire so quickly now being the OLD lady that I am.
Autumn calls for more contemplative activities...crocheting, reading, planning the winter garden, and more coffee drinking.
One of my friends nephew has been born with an extremely rare disease.(not another case in the world that the doctors can find) The thirteenth chromosome broke off and attached with the number two chromosome. He is apparently blind, along with club hands (he has to wear splints ). Also has a hole is his heart but Docs won't operate until he sees the Genetisist. He has a long way to go and him and his family need all of our prayers and thoughts.
Little people should not have to suffer like this. :(
