Lisa sent me one of these last year, and i think they are so funny! I figured Tyson was a good dancer, but the real suprise was Kevin. He MUST be a fan of dancing w/ the stars w/ moves like that!!
Fun! We were elved last year but they're a little different this year it looks like. Maybe we will have to have some fun with it too. Your family is adorable!
We've had a GREAT fall! It has been busy, but we've had some awesome weather. I'll let the pictures tell you about our fun. Hope everybody is doing as well as we are!
I have a show on saturday afternoon that will be 2-3 hours of my day, but other than that I think we are free. Young Ladies class is at our house friday night if you would like to come. It is at 7, and you can bring Tyson.
The only thing special that I do is do a "good" cleaning every other week. I do a room each day including dusting/vacuuming, etc... If I can start some of it on Sunday while Fred's home it makes it easier on me. I make a list each day of things to do and get as many done while she's awake and try to finish up the rest when she naps. :-)
So, here are 8 things about me that you may not know:
1 - I am quiet/shy. That is often mistaken for snobbishness. :(
2 - My closets stay organized, even if my house is a mess. I know, that's weird, but I HATE stuffing stuff into closets to get it out of the way.
3 - I like doing laundry, but I don't like putting it away. I can wash, dry and fold all day long, but it usually doesn't get put away right away.
4 - When I do put the laundry away, I usually end up re-organizing the drawers and it takes WAY longer than it should.
5 - I LOVE playing games...board games, cards, you name it!
6 - I have made every birthday cake for all of my kids' birthdays. It's fun, and they really appreciate it.
7 - I'm addicted to couponing and finding deals. I've gotten so much stuff free or insanely cheap that my husband asks me how much they paid me whenever I come home from the store.
8 - I have a hard time making friends. It very hard for me to put myself out there and get to know other ladies.
Well, there it is. I will tag 8 of you in your comments so I can learn about you, too!
I had a problem with #1 for a long time too. Once in high school, Aubrey brought a friend to church and the friend told Aubrey she didn't ever want to come back because I was giving her dirty looks during Bible class. I felt awful!
I'm with you on the drawers and closet thing actually. I really like for all mine to be completely organized, even when the rest of my house is a disaster!!
I've been tagged a few times....I'll try and do it sometime today!
Hope all is going well. Kyle was actually asking about you earlier this week and we came here so I could show him pics of your kids! He says hi!
I am like you with closets & dressers are organized. It drives me up a tree when my sock drawer gets disorganized! I've always been a perfectionist then the back got bad, the most horrible thing is loving to clean & organizing your house and physically you can't! Pleo is great for you, at least here you have a lot of supportive friends!
I'm with you on several of those. I love finding the deals, especially. Although, lately I'm very apathethic about shopping. Maybe after the little one gets here I'll get back into it. (Or after the move. who knows?)
I had a pampers coupon to give you this weekend that I totally forgot about. do you want it? did you make it to kmart Sunday? I did, but wish I would have gone on Saturday, b/c I could have got some better deals I think. Can't complain though.
yeah, you totally changed my life...for the BETTER!!! It's too long to write. Are you coming to our 10 year reunion this year? If so, i can tell you then.
let me double check w/ Loren about it. he told the kids they could come over on the 18th to play volleyball. i know he is just hoping they have all forgotten about it, b/c he would rather hang out w/ you guys. I will try to find out if anyone was planning on coming.
give me some time--the next month is crazy for me until after the 1st. I do want to explain to you what you did for me, before I die! :) God used you in a way that you probably don't even know, and I have never been the same.
Hey good to hear from you. If I'm not mistaken it looks like you have 3 boys? We are having a blast with our two. The funny thing is my wife comes from a family of girls and wasn't sure what to do with a boy but now she isn't sure she would know what to do with a girl. It is good to see things are going well for ya'll.
yes, he had a blast!! wish we could have seen you guys. nolan even showed some independence by wanting to go to the doors by himself while we stood out at the road.
Well, by oldest baby is 5 YEARS OLD! I can hardly believe it.
We're having a great summer. Here are some pictures of our July so far:
Some of the pictures are from a hog roast we went to. I was very surprised that the boys would try the hog's head throw...gross! In the ladies' division, Jill beat Stacy by inches. Good job, ladies! I didn't attempt a throw...yuck! Plus, that probably wouldn't have been so good for my back! I had a great time watching, though!
Here are some of Ethan's birthday and birthday party:
We took him to Chuck E Cheese on his actual birthday and then had his party the following Saturday afternoon. We all had a good time, and I am SO GLAD to be done with birthday parties for a while. The next one is Kevin's 30th in December. I don't know for sure that there will be a party, but I'd like to try to do something. There's a lot of time between now and then for planning!
Hope you're all having a great summer, too! I'm not looking forward to the summer ending.
They are growing up fast. Nice cake. Caleb is getting into Scooby a little too, although he's not really had much exposure. That baby scale is neat. Looks a little easier for a little one that age. What did the boys think about the hog's head? That's a new one. :)
Sara, just read your comments. You totally read my mind!! I hope nolan and the boys will be great friends! Let me know when you want to start looking for a house...we will be glad to help:)

We're having a great summer! We signed the kids up for free bowling at kidsbowlfree.com and paid the optional $20 fee for Kev and me to bowl, too. It's two free games every day all summer. It's good, cheap fun. We're really enjoying it. If you have kids, go check it out. I'm pretty sure it's not just our area. One of the pictures is of Ethan after he got his very first strike ever.
The boys are still loving T-Ball! We only have two games left, unfortunately. We'll be sad to see it end.
Tyson is growing so quickly! He's such a happy baby. He's babbling non-stop, and his latest trick is blowing spit bubbles. It's messy, but so cute! He's definitely a Mama's boy!
Here are some pictures of some of our summertime fun:
Today was Jackson's half-birthday party. Since his birthday is so close to Christmas, we have his party in June for his half-birthday instead. It works out so much better than trying to work out a party when everyone is so busy with Christmas stuff. Here are a few pictures from the party:
Tyson was looking adorable in the outfit she gave him. Thanks, Jill!
So fun! I'll have to check out the bowling thing. And..I've been thinking about doing the 1/2 birthday thing too, Cal's is Oct 27, not too close to Xmas, but it sure does leave a pretty dry spell from Jan-Oct.
We stopped in Greenwood (well, Southport) to attend on Sunday evening. It was decided at about 3 that afternoon that we would leave a little early to break up the 12 drive. I knew you didn't attend Greenwood, but wasn't sure which one you actually attended.
