Hello everyone. This past week was good.I have been roughly planning our wedding, and we both decided to have a winter wedding. We are going to have it in December, of 09. A winter wedding is elegant and appealing, and the colors we wanted really goes well in winter. Silver and gold. Also in winter you can use alot of lights, candles, and white flowers. I also read on a website that you can break the mold, and instead of a normal white cake, spice it up and have a pretty, elegant chocolate cake. Its pretty cool.
Well, other than working all week, thats all I have done. I did find a website that I can get a modest wedding gown. I have already picked it out. :)

I want you to think about something. Will the angels in heaven be rejoicing when you marry DJ? Will our Lord be also rejoicing too? If, deep in your heart the answer is no, then why are you doing it? If your future husband is going to see to it that your life revolves around Christ and the church, yes the church, not some denomination like the Methodist's, then he is the right one.
If your future husband is going to see to it you never worship in the Lord's church again, and your soul will be lost for eternity, then you had better open your eyes, and wait for a man that God would approve of to spend the rest of your life with.
Hey. Well, I have been doing alot over the past week. Working, cleaning, and taking care of dreama. She went to the vet this past week to get her shots. She did good.
I have also been talking to dj about church and he is going to start going with me to our church with my family in Hurricane. I am so excited. I love you mom and dad!

Well, for the last few days I have been feeling good. Me and dj are trying to plan our wedding, which is planned to happen sometime in August of 09, which is in 8 months. I have changed alot about my looks, for the good. I have let my hair grow out long, and I have colored it a light blonde color. I have a nice dark skin ton from tanning, I am in the process of getting contacts, I have done self skin treatments to make my skin look brighter and no more breakouts, my teeth were whitened, I got my nails done and my eyebrows done, I am in better shape by working out more at home, and I went shopping for a brand new wardrobe.
So this is one reason I feel good, I also feel good because everything is going well in my life. I pray everyday, and thank God everyday for my blessings. Have a good week everyone!
Hey peoples! I am back with some good news. My boyfriend Dj asked me to be his wife. We have been engaged now for about 3 months. We plan on getting married in the fall of 2009. Sometime in late August or early September. The perfect time to me for a outdoor wedding. He gave me a beautiful ring, the one in the picture in the corner is the one he is getting me but he gave me his mothers ring that was his grandmothers, it is a hand me down ring and it is beautiful. We both decided that we want to save up and go all out with the wedding. Make it as big and beautiful as we can. I am going to go dress shopping with my mom, and I cant wait. I have a picture of the dress idea I have in mind below. The colors of our wedding, me and dj decided on, will be silver, gold and red. Different I know, but we wanted it to be flashy and beautiful, and the gold and silver make the flashy part while the red represents our love, plus we like the color red. and I wanted red roses in the mix too. Well thats all I am saying about that good news.
Dj is right now working at the Toyota plant, but they are laying off a bunch of the VTM's at the plant due to the economy being so bad, and that included dj. So his last day there is December 19th. But he gets his interview so they said they will be hiring him back later on when things get better. He wants to either go back to school or get a new job that makes as much as Toyota. Which is good money.
Another thing going on is me and dj are going to get a house when we get married. A nice log home and we are putting it on a nice piece of land that dj has. We looked online at houses, and getting a log home kit, that uses real logs, is cheaper and easier than buying or building. The one we want is a one story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, home. It comes with a poarch and a garage. Its perfect. It doesnt cost much either.
I have also been doing some hunting. Deer hunting. It is the most stress reliveing thing I have done. Believe it or not.
Dj also got me a new puppy. A purebred weiner dog. lol. She is the cutest puppy in the world. Her name is Dreama. She is 9 weeks old. I am getting her into the CKC.

Welcome back. We had a miniature weiner dog. She's gone now. But, she was the baby of the family. Big watch dog ... well, she thought she was. She was really just a little dog with a big dog attitude. :)
I have decided to leave pleonast. I do not know if I will be back or not. There have been to many bad things said and done on here and I do not like it. I am trying to get some big time issues sorted in my life. I do not wish to tell them. Its between me and God. I am also tired of the judgemental attitude people have gotten. Christians are not suppose to judge harshly the way they have been. They have forgotten how to judge and how to love EVERYONE. I do not at all believe that by turning away from someone who is a little different from you is going to make them come back to God or want to be a christian, because they see the way christians act and do not want a part of it. what has happened? Are we not suppose to go into he world, the worst of all places and help each other? Have we lost sight of what is really love and helpfulness and living a christian life? I know I am not one to be talking but all this has been on my mind for a while now. What happens when a women walks into chruch for the fisrt time in years, wearing a mini skirt and tank top? Do we first off judge her just because she is wearing that? I do not think so. We are to help her and love her. Not shun her and see her as wrong. and we should not tell her that it is wrong and she cant come back in until she finds something else to wear. God makes the rules, not us. We are ALL sinners, all the same. Not higher than anyone else. And until we sort things out the church is going to keep on shrinking and soon there will be no more church and God in peoples minds. I love all of you and want to see the love that we are suppose to be giving. We are the only hope the sinful world has. It is up to us to help them. I will be back, I just need some time to think. :)
Great thoughts Sarah! I agree. We can be too judgmental at times and not show love towards others. Sorry to see you leave, but if that's what you need to do, do it.
I also agree that sometimes christians can be too judgmental and not show love. But when there is a case where christians sin public sins (that's where people know about it), other christians are instructed in God's Word to rebuke that sin and admonish that person with love, showing them with scripture that they are in error, and plead for them to repent. Rebuking and admonishing a wayward child of God is not making a personal judgment, the matter has already been judged in God's Word. It may seem harsh but it's necessary to save a soul from eternal punishment.
General comments: God's people are to judge righteously per John 7:24. Righteous judgment involves discerning right from wrong, an ability those weak and immature in Christ fail to either develop or maintain per Hebrews 5:12-14. And, although it is not a popular concept among many, preaching/teaching the word does empower Christians to "convince, rebuke, and exhort" per 2 Tim. 4:2. However, it is to be done with love and longsuffering (patience). No excuses. Granted. We don't make the rules. God does. However, He has made rules and given principles for us to life by. True. We all are sinners. Note Luke 17:10. It is a constant reminder to me of God's grace. As for the future of the Lord's church and where it is headed, the only way I know to help things improve is to faithfully follow in the Lord's footsteps. The skeptics and critics won't like it, but it is the right thing to do. I have no idea what is going on in your life, but if you need a friend and someone to talk to, contact me. However, I make no claims to have all the answers. But, I do fully trust that our God has the answers and His word is sufficent to guide and direct us through life so we can please Him. I am fully confident all the answers any of us need are right there in God's word for us. Therefore, it's up to us individually to reach out for the "gold, white garments, and eye salve" that God offers (Rev. 3:18). Sincerely praying that God will bless you during this time of thought and reflection in your life.
