I'm gold now! What fun! The girls are in their second week of swimming lessons and loving it! Now I can post some pictures of them! :) We are getting ready for our Youth Lectures which begin on Friday. This is a wonderful time at Westside where our building will have around 500 or so young and older people to worship and sing praises to God! It's such an encouraging event!
We are thinking about having our floors redone in our living room and hallways. We are looking at hardwood floors right now but trying to decide what is the right color. Do we try to match the furniture or the cabinets that are in the kitchen. Does anyone have any advice on that? I don't want to go to dark because I think it would make the room look small. Oh decisions... decisions! |

Ok my back has gone out on me again.. so now I'm seeing a chiropractor on a regular basis....I never thought I would ever do that but he has really helped me! I'm a believer! :)
My sister and family are getting ready to leave us...forever and we still just can't believe they are leaving! :( At least she will get to clean my teeth one more time before she leaves!
I'm daily trying to find new things for the kids to do so they are not bored over the summer. We end up staying inside alot because it's just too hot to go outside.
I don't have another vacation planned yet, but I'm working on it. Just short little weekend trips are good for me!
That's about all right now. What new with you this summer?

We went to pick Jordyn up yesterday afternoon. She said she had a great time at camp. When we arrived, I got out to get her and as soon as she saw me, she ran to me a gave me the biggest hug! It was so sweet! She looked hot and tired but it didn't seem to bother her at all.
She was only gone a few days and it did go by pretty quick. I'm thankful for that! She said she wasn't homesick but her buddy Justine was. I'm glad she didn't have a hard time being away from us. She said she would like to go again and is even ready to go to FC camp! Dale showed her pictures of the Texas camp online and got her excited about it.
Last night she needed a shower and she said "Mom, I can do it by myself" and she did. Wow she is really beginning to show her independence which is what everyone is telling me she needs to learn. I'm really proud of her! :) |

Well we made it back home late Saturday evening from Branson and we had a wonderful time! It rained on our drive up as well as the day before we came home which really cooled things off. The first two days we went to Silver Dollar City which is a really neat theme park that has rides and neat shows as well as all the yummy junk food you can get at theme parks. The next day we just toured Branson and that evening we went to The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs Arkansas. It's about and hour and a half drive from Branson. The play shows the last few days of Jesus' life and his death and ressurection. It is on an outdoor stage and they use live animals and gives you the feel of actually being with Jesus. It was very moving. The last day we did some shopping in town and went to the Dixie Stampede. It is a dinner and show. They divide the two sides of the audience into the North and South. Throughout the show, they will have cast do competitions for each side and the South won! The food was delicious and the kids loved it! Now we are back home but have fond memories of our trip. If any of you ever get the chance to go to Branson you should! We highly recommend it! |
