Went to the midnight premiere of Twilight which ended in much disappointment. I didn't think it was all it was cracked up to be. Having read the book, I was very critical about what I expected, and my expectations were far from met. There were some people who liked it, but I'm not one of them..
Reasons why I didn't like the movie:
-They strayed to far from the book. I realize sometimes that's inevitable, but I think they went a bit too far at times.
-The actors were not very good actors. There were lots of moments that were very unnatural.
-Bella's voice was deeper than Edward's voice. How messed up is that?
-The Cullen family was not gorgeous like they should have been. I think they could've have made them a lot prettier. Carlisle and Esme especially. And I wasn't to fond of Edward of Jasper either.
-The special effects were pretty terrible. It was too fake at times.
Though I did like one part in the movie. Charlie. he was totally hilarious throughout the whole movie! I loved him. :)
On a quite amazing note:
I GOT MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER FROM FC TODAY! :D :D :D :D :D
I hope everyone has a great few days off next week. I'm off the whole week :) I hope you never forget to be thankful for Christ's death. Without it, we'd have nothing to be thankful for. May God bless!
Considering what movie it was and the romance it revolves around, I didn't think it was to bad. Couldve been better definitely, but was good. Charlie was funny with the shotgun scene :D
Wow. Falcon Days was nothing short of incredible. I had such a great time. At this point, I'm throughly convinced that's where I wanna go. Unfortunately, it's all gonna come down to money. Dad has been unemployed for a while now, so we're living off one paycheck. It's tight, but we're making it for now. I'm just prayin that the scholarships roll in. Please keep my family in your prayers. Love y'all! Have a great rest of the weekend!

hey i just looked down and saw your post from last week. I have 2 dresses. One is purple and one is gold. If you have not gotten a dress yet I would love to let you look at these. If you were interested I could email you pictures of them. Just let me know an update.
Yea.. Not much to say about that. Just pray. A lot. That's all we can do now. "The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
Tomorrow morning I leave for FC to attend Falcon Days. I'm super duper excited! Though, I have to miss the senior candle-light ceremony, senior/last pep rally, last football game, and my last all-region choir concert. :( Kinda bummed about all that. But I need this trip to FC. And I'm very excited. Please be prayin that Dad and I have a safe trip.
---NEEDED: PROM DRESS ATTIRE---
I need a dress for Senior Coronation. We don't have the funds right now to buy a new dress, so I'm looking for a used one. If you want to keep it but I can borrow it, that would be fabulous. If you don't want it anymore, we'd be willing to buy it from you. I usually wear a medium shirt and 5/7 pant, so if you're the same size and have one I can wear, you're awesome. ;) If you don't live close, we'll pay for you to mail it to me. If you have one, you can email me a picture ( melfryshrimp@yahoo.com ) so I can see it and then choose. If its already modest, that's super! If it needs a jacket or something like that, we can figure it out. :)
I hope everyone has a superfantabulous weekend!
Much love, and may God bless!

I hate allergies. They're so super annoying. But I went to the doctor and got some prescription allergy medicine, and I'm feeling much better.
14 days until my birthday! :D
School is, well, school. There's no other way to put it.
Call me crazy, but I LOVE CALCULUS! I'm such a math person. And I just really like it. Of course, part of the reason is because I have the best math teacher EVER. We're so much alike, she knows exactly what I need to work on and stuff. My current average is a 99 :D I'm hoping it'll kick me up a few people in our ranking.
Random thought of the day: Cupcakes are awesomeee!

wow basketball is waay better than baseball. basketball -> non stop action . baseball -> sit there for several innings...cheer wildly at a big hit then sit some more while nothing happens. hehe, the world series is exciting though, i like watching that.
that is true. If you're new to it then it's hard understanding all the little things going on. If you sit with someone who knows the game you can pick it up quick though. Oh you definitely be entertained watching a game with me hahaha, especially when it's the blazers playing :D
