Well, this isn't exactly the best post to begin with after almost a year of not posting but oh well. So...as a lot of you know we have all been sick the Lewis's and Rutter's both (except for Cameron which Dad says is already too Germy to catch anything:) We have had whatever stomach bug that has been going around and I pray that none of you all get it because it is rough to say the least...Gavin was the first to get sick on Wednesday and it was horrible. It has been the first time that he has ever thrown-up before or really been sick with anything besides a cold...and as a Mother that first time your child is sick like that and just lays on you (which is something he never does he is not a cuddlily baby) he is so miserable it is a terrible feeling because you know there is nothing you can do. Well, he is finally doing better although he did get sick again this morning but, I am telling myself that he just got choked really bad and that's why he got sick again, I hope anyway. He is at least getting down and playing some and eating a little. I hope he starts eating more soon because he has went down to 17 lbs from his already little 20 lbs and you can seen his ribs, but hopefully he will fully recover soon.
Jamie and I both got sick right after Gavin too but, mine didn't seem to last as long thank goodness because I don't know what would have done if it would have since I have to take care of everyone else. Jamie probably had it the worst but, he is finally doing better and had to go back to work today although I think he could have stayed home another day.I have a feeling he will probably be going to bed when he gets home.
Well, that is our story right now...we have all been sick and are finally now on the mend...hopefully it stays that way.
I'm sorry that ya'll are all sick, it's hard having sick babies, but they are so lovable when they are sick. Ya'll get well so we can see you at church on Wednesday.....btw I love what you said about Cameron, that's too funny! Get well!
It is sooo good to hear from you after all of this time! Remember your milk is best for him esp. at this time. That's probably why you didn't get it so bad. You were already producing antibodies to fight it, that were also helping him. I hope you get feeling better very soon and keep nursing and Gavin will pick up his weight again soon!

I didn't know for sure, but I know your mom did with Cameron. There is a group called Mothers_Milk on here. You can get to it from my blog. There is a lot of support for you there. There are a lot of women out there doing that, but you just don't know about it because it's not an open conversation. I always tried to educate women. Don't worry, you are doing the right thing the way God intended!!

Tell your mom I took a page out of her book.....I have started buying things (already) to put in mailboxes next year at camp. I hope I don't forget about them and leave them here when it's finally time! Hope you are all doing well and finally over the ickies. :)

So, I guess I need to post something since Jamie has been posting and a lot of people don't have facebook...Well, we are all doing well. Gavin is doing good...he has had some issues with spitting up a lot so we had to go back to the doctor again last thursday just to make sure that he wasn't losing any weight which he hadn't...actually he gained 4 1/2 oz in like 2 days; what can I say he takes after his parents in his love for food:) Also, they said the reason why he was spitting up is because he is eating too fast and getting too much air in his tummy so, I have tried some stuff they told me but, it doesn't matter he's just a little piggy:), maybe he'll learn soon. Well, I'll try post again soon.
So, this weekend we will be out of town to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary (which is hard to believe, it's even harder to believe that we have been together "dating" for 5 1/2 years)! Anyways, we are leaving to go down to Orlando Friday night and will not be returning until Sunday night, and then we will have one day of vacation at home since Monday is a holiday (one bonus about getting married on a holiday weekend)! I am excited to go...it is always nice to be able to get away and not have to do anything plus...we will be going to the outlet malls, out to eat a couple times (food is always good:), and to a movie (probably Pirates of the Carribean) all of these add up to fun fun fun & for me tired tired tired! But, the plan is to break everything up with a long lunch & movie so I can rest some so hopefully I'll be able to make it:) Well, since I won't see you all Sunday, I Hope everyone has a good weekend & a great graduation (for those of you graduating)!
yay! I can't WAIT to get to go see POTC! Of course, I won't get to until sometime next week because I will be out of town this weekend and super busy. But, I am watching Orlando Bloom on the Ellen show right now... so I guess that makes it okay. =D Have fun!

serena is never online any more... but she is super close, she's hoping to get through camp before Gavin joins us on the outside, if I hear anymore news I'll let you know. She has a DR appointment to today so maybe next week or so, we'll see!!!!

Another update well her due date was yesterday, and the dr said that on Tuesday if she hasn't had the baby before than they are going to induce her! So baby Gavin will join us on the outside at least by Tuesday. She seem's to be doing really good and he dr said that she was about 1 cm dialated! Even though I'm not there to see her beautiful baby born I'll let you know as so as I can!~ Amber out!
THE NEWS IS HERE!! Serena and Jamie had their beautiful baby boy last night (July 31st) at 10pm. He weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long. Everyone is doing great and I am planning on stopping by there today. :) We are so happy for them!!
