Four days until Jason, Cheyenne and I have to be moved out of our first home we shared as first, newlyweds and then as a family. A lot of memories in this small little one bedroom apartment. Since we are a family now we are upgrading to a two bedroom apartment in houston only about four mmiles away from Jason's work which will make his drive to and from work about 25 - 30 minutes shorter. Well be saving a bundle on gas and all the tolls he would have to go through four days a week.
It's a sad move due to the fact that we'll have to find a congregation closer to our new home. Not worshiping at Avenue N is going to be the hardest part for us. Hopefully we can find a congregation up there that resembles Avenue N where we can feel at home away from home.
So, Friday is the big moving day and Wednesday will probably be our last night at Avenue N. We are going to miss you all! And hopefully we'll visit often! :)
I know it will be strange leaving the place where you've always been, but it could be nice starting out in a new, bigger place. I know there are good groups all over the north Houston area that would love to welcome you all.
Aw, you mean you're going to treat me to steak and shake? I heard the shakes were awesome! :D Haven't heard from Joey yet about the dog park, probably won't hear anything til Thurs or Fri. I'm off tomorrow! :D which congregation are you guys attending, ppl have asked and I wasn't sure if you'd picked one or were still looking around.
next weekend, 22nd, Ren Fest. Don't forget to get your tickets at HEB or Randalls for $18. Invite your friends. I told JoeDan to tell the fam, maybe some of them will come, I know Joe Dan was interested.

Carissa, i was directed here from jason's page.. ashley "robertson" walters..i think we only met once when you visited college station with jason. im so happy for yall! first of all, i love all the pictures. jason is SO proud! and i must say im impressed...no epidural and no complaining! im a labor and deliery nurse and let me say that rarely happens..that ppl go w/o an epidural. thrilled for you both!
Thinking of you--I know you're wired and excited, scared and impatient, every emotion ever possible. We're praying for the three of you. Love you a lot.

Today was our last dr's visit before the baby is born. She said that I was still about 4 centimeters dialated, but could go ahead and schedule and induction if that's what we wanted to do.
So.. if this little girl doesn't come by Tuesday, September 9th, then Jason and I will be headed to the hospital at 5:45 am to get the joyous day started! I'm hoping that she comes on her own between now and the 9th, but I'm not opposed to induction.
I can't wait to see was she looks like and to be able to hold her and know that she is ours and that we can't just hand her back to someone and go on about our business. Instead people will be handing her back to US and going on about THEIR business.
People ask if I'm scared. NOT AT ALL! I'm more excited than anything. I've never been in the hospital for anything before, so that in itself will be a new experience for me.
I can't wait to see how Jason reacts to everything. He can be both predictable and unpredictable, but I know he'll be the best birthing partner I could ask for. We've made a deal that he can have the first "kiss" and the second diaper change. I think I got the raw end of that deal!
So anyway, just wanted to fill you guys in. Please pray for Jason and I, as well as a healthy baby if you will :) Thank you so much!
And hey, you might end up with the good side of that deal, because sometimes the nurses do the first diaper change. ;)
Baby girl needs to hurry up because the boys and I are leaving on Saturday! I don't want to have to wait until she is two weeks to see her, so tell your belly Miss Aimee says preeeeeety please!
And girl- 4 cm!! You're almost halfway done. :) That is SO not fair, LOL.
