The weather is perfect for a redneck Thanksgiving around here. We'll be riding 4 wheelers and shooting guns (maybe not at the same time). And, of course, the wife has the house stunk up real good with lots of scrumpcious food for a big dinner. I think it's gonna be a good day for which I am thankful. Have a good one yourselves.
Good thing there wasn't another turkey close to that one when he got shot - or they would have been stuck together. Did you notice that in some of the pics you can see the arrow coming out the front of the turkey? Pur a little veggies on it and it would be a shish kabob? (How do you spell that???)
Studies have shown most people put their left sock on first when getting dressed. I guess that's normal people because after carefull observation on many different occasions I have discovered I always put my right sock on first. What about you?
i honestly don't pay attention to which sock i put on first...next time i put on socks im sure i will think of this though..so i guess ill get back to ya.=]
I put mine on left foot first...always! If I don't, my whole day seems out of whack. Plus, I keep my socks inside out and roll them up my foot rather than pulling them on. (I know...it's strange, but it gets me through my day.)
...I would have been a party-pooper after only 2 hours of sleep the previous night I would've have fallen to sleep... I fell to sleep while studying on my bed and papa had to rescue the laptop from the edge and turn out the light and I didn't know nada until 7:30 the next morning after 12 hours of sleep! It was quite pleasant. =)
I think I may put the left sock on first. It's easier inasmuch as I'm right handed. But about Biden: No, even though Delaware is less than an hour from here, I don't know him. The Joe who created the Obamanation flag with the hammer and sickle and Obama logos was visiting here from Alaska. The flag fits Obama's wealth redistribution plan.
yes, I knew you were kidding. I just wasn't witty enough to come up with a suitably witty response. I think my funny bone withered up with my last birthday, or maybe it was Nov. 4 that did it.
Dear Self,
Be sure to get up at 2:00 a.m. and set all clocks back one hour. While you are up you just as well change batteries in the smoke detectors and test. See you in a couple of hours.
Dear Self, Set your clocks BEFORE 2:00am and you won't have to get up =) Or set your alarm as usual and wake up an hour earlier then set it again and enjoy one hour of wonderful sleep that you thought you had lost! =) Self
Yesterday I had to do some work at a personal residence installing some interior columns, arches, and raised panel wainscoting. I get to the home about 8 a.m. with my sinuses already sensitive to discover the stench of cigarette smoke and pet(s) odor. Oh joy! For the next nine hours I got to enjoy the pleasure of this lovely aroma. And, my ears were not going to let my nose have all the fun. I also got to listen to a stupid yappy dog all day along with the lady homeowner threating the dog like a child each time it barked (a bazillion times). "Do you want to go to the cage? Huh? Do you want to go to the cage?" And, if this was not enough, some lady stopped by to visit at the end of the day who was very vocal and sounded just like Roseanne Barr.
Needless to say, when I got home I was physically and emotionally drained. I ate a rather large supper (very good, thankyou wife), showered, and slepted the rest of the evening until I went to bed.
hmmmm... smoke is awful. I worked a few times during the summer for a guy (our neighbor) who smoked constantly... When I left his house I would run up the hill to our yard and run around and around and around before rushing straight to the shower... trying to get rid of the smokey smell
Yappy dogs are irritating enough, but to have to smell one, and smell smoke, and listen to the likes of Roseanne Barr.... that's more than a body can take. Glad your wife was home to cook you supper!!
I know!!! Today I totally saw 2.09 in Manchester, and I was sooo bummed out because I just filled up for like 30 cents more than that in M'boro and my tank was TOTALLY full!
=] Well... yes I understand about the 1st mile thing... I almost never dress too warmly anyway so the ride was great... later in the day when it warmed up I just tied the coat to a trusty rack I have!! ;)
Soooo happy about gas prices... I rode out the worst of it (literally on my bike!) =) I am now on sort of on E and happily watching it drop about 3cents/2or3days!! I will have to get a few gallons but I won't fill up yet if this keeps going down!! WAHOOOO!
A pony, what a ...great idea. I'm sure the city would love to pay for it's housing. I'm keeping Claire away from you so she doesn't pick up on your hair brained ideas!
