Sharon, it's wonderful to hear from you and about your family. So we live in the same state! Why didn't we know this for the last 30 + years? I met Nathan at Robin and Dana's when my husband held a meeting there in 2005. I guess they are filling you in on all that. I enjoyed hearing about your family.
Yes, we were in Indiana when Steve died. My oldest, Jacob, was in school at Purdue up there and has since graduated and he and his wife live and work in Austin. My daughter, Katie is married and her husband Nick (from there...I guess Robin has filled you in on that!) is in preacher training in the Houston area. They moved from Florida this year. So you can see the Lord has blessed our family after our trial of losing Steve and being miles and miles apart. He has blessed me with a wonderful, loving man who keeps me laughing and takes good care of me. And He has brought the kids near and blessed them as well.
I am so sorry for the loss of little Seth. Knowing you and Robin, I know you will allow the Lord to lead you through this tough time. And this same faith is found in your children, though there will be some tough moments of working through the stages of loss. I'm sending love and hugs and prayers your way.
And this WILL be a great way for all of you to stay closer in touch!
I obviously wrote that late last night. I didn't live in Texas for the last 30+ years! But I'm FROM Texas and saying that above just felt natural. I lived in Kentucky/Ohio/Indiana over for 27 years.
I know today will be hard and pray that the family can find strength in one another and in the Lord.
Welcome Sharon. I am a friend of the Emery's here in Sneads Ferry, NC. I met you at Nathan and D's wedding, which you might not remember. I was so sorry to hear of your little one. We continue to pray for all of you.
