While I've been away Titus is growing and learning new tricks everyday. He is such a sweet blessing and Andy and I are loving every minute. We can't believe he is already 10 months! He is crawling and is starting to sign a little. He already has 7 teeth and loves to eat and try new food. He is a happy little guy and you just can't help but love him. :)
In other news.... we are moving to Texas. Andy's job is taking us to Houston. It's a great opportunity and a new adventure for us (but it will be hard to leave Nashville.) So who out there lives in Houston? I have never been there but I have heard lots of good things. Tell me what you know about Houston.
congratulations on the job. I hope you all like the area. I would love to see what your baby is looking like these days. it sounds like he is really growing up.
When are you moving there? Jesse preaches there in Baytown. You will love his sweet wife. It sounds like the moms get together a lot there. That's about all I know.
Lots and lots and lots of traffic !! We'll miss seeing you when we're in Nashville (of course, it seems like we miss seeing you already most of the times we're in Nashville---how does that happen ;>) Good luck !! And I can't get over how big Titus is; he does seem like a very happy baby !
Wow! I haven't been there, but I do know there are lots of Christians out there. I'll be praying for you guys. I know that's a big move. And as for Mr. Titus...how great that he's signing. Once Ava started, it helped her to be so much less frustrated. She even still signs a few words as she says them. I love it!
What a way to discover you're moving! I felt this day was inevitable. Well, sometimes change can really be good. I hope this move is great for you spiritually, family-wise, and job-wise. Love you and wish you the best!! In answer to your question, we attended worship at Portland-they are having a gospel meeting this week.
Hello...I have met you before, but you may not remember me. I think we met in Bowling Green or Louisville? I saw Misty this weekend and she told me you were moving to Houston. We live just outside of Houston on the East side. Where did you guys move to exactly? Church? If you need anything please let us know and if you would like to come and visit our church it is in Baytown called Eastside. I can give you guys directions or help you navigate anywhere else around the Houston area. My husbands name is Brad and he grew up in Houston so he knows his way around pretty well. Good Luck with you move!
Sounds great! My e-mail is lazanya17@hotmail.com it sounds like he is working on the side closest to us...maybe you all will end up over here:) Let me know if we can do anything for you guys!
Hey Vicki - it Beth(Hundley). My mom said she met you at Douglass Hills on Sunday and that Titus was adorable! I left a message on Andy's blog but I am assuming he doesn't check it very much since he hasn't updated in a while. I am heading to Indianapolis in a few weeks for work and was hoping to see Holly and Sean. Do they still worship at Trader's Point? Good luck with the move to Texas!
hey. not coming. andy and heather ARE! if i could rid myself of 3 kids i would in a heartbeat. rica said she would totally come see us!! bummer. i just can't bring myself to driving this far with such young kiddos- 3 OF THEM! 2 maybe. anyways, hope you have fun if you get to see rica! i am jealous. maybe soon after your baby i can come visit all! ;)
I know I won't make it until my due date...the question is, will I make it to my c-section date. Abe came a week earlier than his scheduled c-section, so at this point I just expect anything at anytime:) How bout you?
I remember feeling so excited and then as the day got closer being really nervous about the labor too, you'll do fine, remember millions of women do this more than once - on purpose ;)
Well, I was back in my room, but I think it went pretty well. For the first time in forever, we actually had really bad traffic on the road to our house because of some SWAT team barricade thing (it was weird). Some people may have turned around and not come, but we had a pretty good turnout. Not a whole lot of non-Broadmoorians, but still good. :) I think a little over half sold. The house looks great! :) I lay in bed all day yesterday, and then got up and the house was transformed! :) I saw Melanie briefly.
Congrats! I tried to call your voicemail but it was all full! I wonder why! I left for the airport right after I heard and then after turning my phone back on I got all of this weeks messages including the one you left on me on Wednesday! So I am sorry I didn't know and didn't come to see you. Stupid phone. Enjoy and I will see you and baby soon!
YEAH!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! Jessica and Jeremy were at church here Sunday and told us the great news! I'm so happy for you, can't wait to see pictures and here all about how you are doing!
Norm's is the 22nd. Not as bad as Christmas Eve, like Kevin...usually a weekend separating Christmas from his B'day, so it's close but not too bad. Missed you last night.
You actually posted-Wow! But then it's not every day that one is expecting with such expectations, is it!? No Decembers in our family. What day is this sweetie due?
We went to worship at Portland (where we go Wed. nights) because the preacher was reporting on his work in Venezeula (I think I just spelled that incorrectly)! Anyway, it will be interesting to see when this baby ACTUALLY arrives. Zach is the only one of mine who came exactly on the due date. Chevis is standing here trying to read this at the moment. He just said, "Momma, erase that!" Love ya!
Hey, how come I'm not added to your friends' list. Am I too old to qualify?! Soon we could at least be in the "mother's club" together, not to mention the "same birth month", "same profession" club!!!
Congratulations! I didn't know you were expecting. My oldest son, Douglas, was born Dec. 17th, and my brother, Jonathan, was born Dec. 6th. Your baby will be in good company! =-) Are you finding out what you are having?
