-quit my job at Chaffey (too much drama, good to get away from that social network) I feel like a stranger and just a student when I go there now...and I like it.
-got a new job, watching Kendall (a 3-month old baby). I'll be working Mon-Wed-Fri 7am-1pm...$200 a week. Set hours and better pay to watch a cute baby...count me in.
-doing well in my classes...my administration of justice class is my absolute FAVORITE! It was the one class I was hesitant about, but turned out to be my BEST class.
-decided to grow my hair out...it's in it's weird and awkward length where I have to find different styles to work because the style I had has grown out and now it just hits my shoulders and FLIPS! gah. Good thing I like different kinds of hats.
-decided I'm planning a trip to Japan...dad wants to tag along. I REALLY want to go to Japan...hit Korea on the way back...thinkin' about talkin' to Marilyn to see what kind of offers or packages she may know about..even though the trip probably won't happen for another year.
-I've been helping in Molly's class on Wednesdays...man, I love those kids. The things they say...oy.
I feel like a completely different person than I was 6 months ago...it's weird, yet refreshing.
Had some rough times, had some good times, but most of all I have LEARNED a lot of different things these past few months...won't go into specifics, but it all turned out for the best and maybe not how I thought I wanted it to turn out, but it turned out exactly how I didn't realize I needed it to turn out.
It is a blast!!!A cop I know in town wanted me to do a ride along thing at the police dept but I didn't.My brother is actually a cop.I love doing it at the fire dept.
Vanessa needs a new job. Vanessa needs a change of scenery.
Vanessa loved her job helping high school students,(key word: LOVED-past tense just incase you didn't catch it) but when her job consisted of hiring a new ambassador team of right-out-of-high-school students and having classes with right-out-of-high-school students, she began to contemplate if the take-down of said students was really worth the amount of time she would be spending with the real life version of the Prison Break "ese's" or if she should just move on. After .12 seconds she realized that moving on sounded dandy.
Vanessa has one prospective job. She really hopes it will work out. That would be swell for her.
Her classes are going well. Her Administration of Justice instructor swears he's seen her in the back of a cop car before.
Her Sociology instructor is...little and bald.
Her Spanish instructor speeeaaaakksss soooooo sloooooow.
*ends third person narrarating*
So...yeaaah.
On a lighter note, incase any of you didn't already know this...I have a sliiiight obsession with Winona. She tends to say very humorous things...like this...
ok, to set the scene...I am holding Winona in the middle aisle at church. WOOSH! Joan Behrens comes up. Scene set.
JOAN: Winona, you didn't come to see me today!
WINONA: Do you have Tic Tac? *holds out hand for Tic Tac*
JOAN: Do you only love me because I give you Tic Tacs?
WINONA: Yes.
You should move to Arkansas. It's CHEAP, it's EASY to find a JOB (read: Walmart) and there's a community college right across the street from Sam's Club and down the street from the walmart...
:)
Do you remember stopping for donuts when we took you to Disneyland with us? Some place in Pomona on Holt. We had leftovers and ate them when we came home late that night.
