as hard and weird as it is being away from my family on thanksgiving, it's been fun so far. plus I'll be home in two weeks. meaning I'll probably appreciate t more than those who are home right now.
two weeks until that beautiful california sunshine and wonderful mexican food.
it seems like this past week has been good for no one. I was extremely sick and yesterday I got the worst news. my parents put my dog noah down. I loved that dog like no other, he was really the only pet I remember having, besides our other dog tucker. I think it'll be harder when I go home and he's not there, but I really feel like a family member is gone.
Also, my grandma fell and is now in my sisters nursing home, which I find funny. Lisa gets to go to work and see her, haha :]
so keep her in your prayers for a quick and good recovery.
hopefully this week will be a better week, all around.
Noah is in dog heaven because he was such a good dog! =) I'm working right now and keep seeing Grandma, its funny but I'm glad I can keep an eye on her! haha
the "fc plague" is now going around, and although I avoided it I can't talk, I just squeak. hanna seems to be thoroughly enjoying this fact, as do many others.
anyway, it's crazy that its november already. november isn't my top month, I prefer october and december, but it's alright. it's kinda sad I won't be home for thanksgiving, but it'll be a party nonetheless. anywhere I go with hanna is bound to be a ton of fun. it'll just be weird not being home. but I come home 5 weeks from today for quite a long time. I'm excited. even if there really isn't much left for me in california at the moment. it'll be fun to be on the west coast and have one of those california christmases where you can go to the beach :]
Hope you have a good break - what are ya'll doing? We always drove to B'ham to see my aunt and uncle those were some fun road trips! Glad your having a great time!
I get to go home in 10 days. I'm excited to see the few people I miss and eat real food, but I have come to the conclusion there is not too much back there for me.
even better...IT'S OCTOBER! my favorite time of year! FALL! I love october, november and december. FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR!
if you haven't noticed, most poeple get a WHOLE lot nicer around this time of year. maybe it's because santa is watching. who knows.

I've always hated that statement, because usually those reasons are not very obvious. and I hate having to look for the reason that things happen.
A few weeks ago I called my mom and completely seriously told her that I wanted to come home and then proceeded to get angry when she told me I couldn't. I was convinced that everything would be so much better in california, if only I could see the west coast and feel the sunshine with my family and friends. I agreed to stay, at least till the end of the semester. I will now stay until at least the end of the year...
because sometime in between yesterday and today I thought about why I am here and why this is all happening to me. and I came up with one reason. and that one reason made it all seem worth it. there is a reason I am here. there is a reason that this is all happening. and it may effect me negatively now, but in the end it will be positive. and it will be positive to those around me who it effects as well. and because of this, I'm okay with who I am and where I am. I'm trying to improve, because trying really is all I can do.
:) i thought of you when i heard it. i can't wait to go get his cd after class tomorrow! it's been too long since his music has been in my life, and i need it terribly.
i had many many many moments like that and the saying "the grass is greener on the other side" is so true because you always think something else may be better but its usually not and you need to be content in everything! focus on the positive and enjoy fc because its such a wonderful place!!
