I don't care for pro football. I understand that really taking a hit or making a tackle is counter-productive since you might injure your livelihood with an injury.... but it's just not as much fun to watch.
As for college football, I'm pumped that I figured out how to get our bunny ears to pick up FOX! So now I can watch the Big 12 dominate the big bowl games.... I hope. This is the only time I'll say this until next January, so listen closely: Go Texas and Oklahoma!
Quite possibly the ugliest Mizzou win I've ever seen... but I'll take it. After watching it, however, I think it's going to take a little while for enough adrenaline to wear off so that I can sleep.
Who would have thought Wolfert would miss the field goal!?
Yeah, I only saw the last few minutes of the game (came in about 5 minutes into the 4th), and just that got my adrenaline going!! Then I slept with a 5-week-old ... which is also not good for sleeping. :)
It's not a "great time to be a Michigan Wolverine" or "a great time to be a Tiger....", at least in terms of football.
Does that qualify as false advertising?
NOTE: I have an interview today for a prosecuting position I would love. My sources say 170 other folks want the position, too... please keep me in your prayers!
I'm reminded of that scene from Fun with Dick and Jane where Jim Carey goes on a job interview and tries to beat out all the other men in suits applying for the same job. Wishing you luck!!
The problem is that you didn't factor any Aggies into the equation. "How many aggies does it take to get Susan a job?" would likely have a witty answer.
1 of each, an attorney to sell it to the judge, the judge to make the wrong decision, a state rep to go over the judges head and a governor to feel sorry for ya.
Yes. We're going to leave here Thursday morning - probably around 9 or so - which will put us into STL around 1 or so. :) We'll spend the afternoon with you, and then head on to Columbia sometime that evening. I hear you might be making the STL-CoMo leg with us?
