Man, good speech. Good rips on Oby. The media must be freakin out. They are really going to go after her now. May be they will make fun of her glasses or something other than her 17 year old daughter. I think I smell a back lash coming.
So Rhonda and my mom were at a restaurant or something and both flipped out because they saw your twin. Rhonda said she's never seen someone look SO much like someone she knows. I wish I would have been there... it would have been good to see you. :-) Turns out, while you were at Cedar Point I was up at my parents house. You should have contacted me. Are we still friends?
For once I am happy with McCain. Good choice. Pro life, very strong pro life, Pro hockey, Pro drilling, good communicator.
Almost excited, about this pick.
I guess we got the same old same old last night from Obama-Biden.
hope, change, and him trying to convince the country that he is patriotic. Good luck. He did spot the American flag a spot on his stage that was designed by Britney Spears set designer. Good for him.
So The big 0 was confronted with the question, "when does life begin?" and he refrained when in front of the American Public. But earlier in the decade when he said that he voted against the war in the U.S. Senate, when he was actually only a state senator, the OBommer voted against legislation that would allow babies that survive an abortion and are living, completely outside of the mother, to have medical attention and allowed to survive a mothers and a "doctors" worst intentions. But Oby has said recently that those who have recorded that he voted against that legislation are lying. But then, as luck would have it, an audio tape surfaced of the messiah complaining about the survival of a fetus going against the original decision of a "mother."
So for all those "christians" who are fans of the "messiah," perhaps he has answered the question. Life starts sometime between safety-town and kindergarten.
I've heard various things about the Saddleback interviews of Obama and McCain. Last night, I stayed up too late and watched the whole thing, in order, in ten parts on YouTube. My impressions of Obama were nothing new - there are several issues on which he and I are diametrically opposed. And the things which I agree with him on are things that pretty much everyone agrees on (i.e. the general notion that we want America to be better, and that people should be nice). My big surprise, however, was in how much I identified with McCain and his positions. I have been very "ho hum" about McCain thus far, but I think I might actually be enthusiastic about him at this point. I might not throw away the next junk mail from him asking for money.
If we only knew where candidates stood on issues like "the beginning of life." If only there was a candidate who delivered babies for a living and who has brought the nations hipocracy on the abortion issue to the surface. Where are you Ron Paul? Where are you?
Putting the fact that Charley is making some pretty serious spiritual accusations aside, your video DID make me laugh. You can't say that McCain isn't creative!
I went up to Ohio this past week. It was fun but Melissa did not come with me. She was working. Probably one of her most busy weeks at school, right before the kids come back. So alot of the time I was thinking about her and how I should have been helping her out at school. But I went anyways. It will be the last time.
Saw many good friends and their great kids. Saw two brothers and went to Cedar Point with them. Hope fully brother Jay will put up one or both of the pictures he purchased. I have not been there in about 13 or 14 years. It was great. Got to spend time with Grandparents and other relatives. Got to shoot some of my Grandpa's guns. And got to ride around and see the little town where I spent most of my youth. Paper routs, capture the flag, riding bikes all around town, place where I used to work picking strawberries and apples, a few places where a few friends and I ran from the po-po, and I ran a few laps around the old track by my old highschool. It is still as crappy as it ever was. I was amazed by that. And I got to spend time with my parents.
I also brought back about 4 boxes of junk that is supposedly my junk from a while ago. I hope my kilt is in there somewhere.
I am going to try to put some pictures up but I am not sure how. I think I knew how to post them about 4 years ago, but I have long forgotten how to. I will have to call jay. This is mainly for my good friend Becky.
There's no space between the < and the img. The space between img and src remains. Paste the image location and wrap it with quotation marks, and then end it with the > symbol.
Uh-oh. "Senator Barack Obama said he might "refine" his Iraq policies after meeting with military commanders there later this summer." The winds of change are blowing and Berry is bending like a reed. So does this flip flop on the war in Iraq change anyones idea's or opinions about obama? I know he has said that he will still bring the troops back, after he got flack for his statements but you know it is all just talk. He is a politician just like everyone else, except that he has no experience and he doesn't sound very bright unless he is speaking from a teleprompter, reading from other peoples speeches.
Agreed, I am just amazed at his ability to say what ever he wants and his oblivious and obtuse followers pay not attention. They just think hope, future, change, hope, well spoken, Black. And hope.
like most politicians, it is anything to get in office, then do whatever you want. anyone not bright enough to know that there is absolutely no way he could keep his "troops come home in 3 months promise" shouldn't be allowed to vote.
but that will be the downfall of our country, too many dumb voters.
Good thing McCain hasn't ever flip-flopped on anything ... oh, wait, he used to be 100% against torture and for prisoners' rights. Sorry bout that one. He also used to actually be moderate, until he started trying to pander to the Bushites.
They are both politicians and neither of them would really 'change' anything.
However, since neither of them will change anything, really, I'd rather listen to speeches from Obama than McCain, as that's really about the only real effect the president has, the completely superficial.
That and appointing conservative or Godless Supreem court Justices and exectutive decision making power, IE we attack those who attack or harm the U.S. But yea, completely superficial.
Don't get me wrong, I get ill when I think of McCain as President. But I would rather have a person that would pander to the moral conservatives than a Man who's only tallent is double talk. If you like hearing Berry talk, you must not have heard him speak off the cuff. He is worse than Bush.
if the only real effect a president has is making speeches why does bush hold such low esteem in your eyes? ...if they're all the same...? Not really disagreeing with you on them all being basically the same.
What would our grandparents have said if a few years after Pearl Harbor there had been a presidential candidate named Jin Yong Li? "President of the United States of America: Barack Obama."
