Thanks to everyone for your warm wishes! Frank and I have been married for 16 years! We have bad craziness going on in our lives now and I thought for sure we would not do anything at all for our anniversary. When I left work last night I couldn't understand why my car was in a different place than where I parked it. Silly me, I actually looked at the license plate instead of looking at the cute guy getting out of my car with carnations. We went to dinner and then home. He watched a football game, Olivia worked on her typing tutorial. I went next door to Deb's and finished a bracelet I started Thursday night.
Meg is staying with her this weekend getting caught up on laundry. It was fun to spend time with her and Debbie. Have a great weekend.
Thanks for getting her. Our washer broke--so much for my first paycheck--our new one arrives tomorrow. One of my students calls me Miss Yeshie. It's so cute.
I was going to make a sweatshirt jacket with this really cool halloween theme crazy quilt squares. Fashion sense prevailed and I decided it was to much pattern, so it will be a quilt now. Olivia has plans for me to remake a poodle skirt she and Frank found at Goodwill. To bad it's a size 20. I could probably make her 4 skirts out of it! Thanks baby.
Even though she is sorely missed, I can't keep putting myself through the slideshow everytime I'm on Pleo.
I can actually write something about me for a change. In case you wondered I do have a bit of a life outside of my husband and daughter.
I ran a 5K in a local marathon today!! I have been training since July and considering I'm 50 pounds over weight I think I finished at a pretty good time. My sister-in-law ran the same leg as me but she finished about 7 minutes faster than I did.
It meant so much to me to near the end and happen to glance up and see my daughter and then my husband waiting at the finish.
I even received a relay medal. I have never gotten any kind of award before, especially for a sporting event. It was really cool and I feel really GREAT right now. Naturally I took a nap when I got home.
I even saw several people there that I know from work as well as ALOT of folks from church!
I think I might even do it again next year. How crazy is that???
Or antibiotics are my new, worst enemy. Sure hope this one will work without making me react. I'm so glad Frank's experience were not like this poor boy's.
I am so sorry. Losing a dog is so hard. It's like losing a family member. At least it's that way for us. We are so close to our dogs. We have 4 of them. We love them all like they are our children. I can just picture Sophie eating potatoes out of the skillet, how sweet! It's funny how each dog is so different, and how they develop they own little quirks and little things they do. Their favorite foods they like and how they sneak around to do things. How can you not love dogs? I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you remember her with love for years to come.
Hey girl miss ya--our breeder called over the weekend they have a friend with spaniel puppies--all male- they cannot get ride of them and were wondering if we wanted another one "cheap" --I don't think Remington needs a playmate.
Chris and I want to register soon. Is there a better day of the week in the next two weeks, and a good time? Also can we just register something from each dept, for now and add later if we choose?
lol! I'm going to go with NO. It can't be any worse than what my husband does...eating fritos out of the bag and dipping them in pimento cheese. Whatever tastes good to ya. :)
I ended up not going to the ER. Did I tell you that? I trusted my in-camp nurse, David. I'll see my doc on Monday. He can refer me to someone if I'm not improving like I should. Miss you, too.
Hannah said a little before 10 she felt like she needed to go to her room for lights out. She said it's not completely over. There's tomorrow night, Lord willing.
