Hey guys. I finally got a long anticipated job offer today! Perot Healthcare Systems is moving their IT Dept from TX to BG. I've been hired as a new IT Technician. I'll start Aug 11, considering my criminal background check comes back clean ;)
I know for a fact that picture was "after" the wedding. I had a background check once... just use fake fingerprints! Seriously, I am very happy for you and the new job...now you will be able to feed my daughter!
glad the good job come through and you can leave wallyworld. We really enjoyed your visit last week and fixing the ringer on my phone. I let it ring longer now just to hear the song.....
Thanks for the prayers. Gave L the message. BTW I didn't know about the employment. So glad things are on the upswing. Amy is so sweet. A little quiet, but sweet all the same. :) See you at services.
Well, now that I've walked the line and I have my fake diploma (real one to arrive by mail at a later date), that's one more thing that I can cross off my list of things to do. Honestly, I feel about the same except I don't have to register for classes next semester! Now on to the more important thing, getting married!! About 33 days and counting till the big date; June 13th for those of you that didn't know. :-)
Ok, let me see...
graduate - check
find the perfect girl for me - double check
marry that girl - next on the list!!
get a job - also very high on the list
find a place to live - check
move in - check
get organized at new place - work in progress...
Well, after my two surgeries this month, I'm back to normal. (at least physically, I'm still a little weird, though) I'm looking forward to Christmas break. We'll be traveling a lot, probably to AL, and then to TN. It'll be nice to spend some more time away from the retail world! Last Friday was crazy!! But I managed to survive anyway.
I'm glad the semester is almost over, but I've gotta get through a few final projects first. :(
Well, last night was not fun. Sickness, pain, and more sickness. I went to the emergency room this morning and found out that my appendix needed removing. So I just got home about an hour ago from having that done. I'm doing better, but I can't do anything for a week. I guess I'll have no choice but to play Halo 3 or something. ;)
Well since Amy didn't call to let us know you made it through the surgery, it is good to know you are well enough or should I say drugged enough to be able to blog! Hope you recover quickly although I know it will be tough with all that Halo 3 playing going on! Seriously, glad you are on the road to recovery! Take care of yourself ....I have a vested interest in your health!!
Yes, I was one of those people who was standing in line at 11:00PM last night to get Halo 3 at midnight. I was successful, and I also got the free Halo 3 dog tag (while supplies lasted). I just finished playing the first 6 chapters. The next one involves flood, so I decided to take a break. I just gotta keep the Halo 3 Dew flowing so I don't fall asleep! So far, it's awesome. I'll keep you posted.
