Today had been so…weird. This morning my alarm went off at 6:30am. I probably should have accepted an offer for breakfast that I unexpectedly received so that I would have started my day, but the thought of being awake was too intimidating so I crawled back into my warm bed. I ended up sleeping through my class, and woke up 15 minutes before chapel started. It was so nice!
I’ve really been enjoying April’s playlist once again: http://www.pleonast.com/room.php?&roomID=61118
I’ll have to post my own soon again – it’s been awhile.

I have class in a few minutes, but here is a quick recap:

Tuesday morning: Woke up, wrote, went to class wrote in class, went to chapel, took notes in chapel, went to the library and wrote, wrote, wrote
Tuesday at 12pm: finished paper
Tuesday at 12:15pm: finished bibliography
Tuesday at 12:20pm: printed off paper
Tuesday at 12:25pm: stapled paper together
Tuesday at 12:27pm: ran to class
Tuesday at 12:30pm: turned in paper
Tuesday afternoon: took a nap in the sun
Tuesday evening: Watched Omega buys and girls beat Arete guys and girls in football (sorry Arete!), ate dinner, went to basketball game, chilled, spent good times with good friends
Tuesday night: went to the Sutton Devotion, talked with more good friends, went to bed
Now I just have my paper for Modern American Writers and a test for Intro to Business (which are both on Monday – I’m positive!)
Life is looking a little more do-able!

Well, approximately 24 hours since my unfortunately lucky discovery (turns out I wasn’t the only one that thought it was next week on Tuesday – I feel justified), I am now working on my eighth page (out of ten) and I am only just now getting Ferdinand and Sophie married – I haven’t even had a chance to think about their assassination! I don’t think I will have the problem of running out of information. Now as to the problem of having enough energy… we shall see.
Currently I think the only reason I am awake is the fact that it is absolutely *freezing* here in Sutton! I am not kidding! I am sitting here with three layers on, my snowflake socks from my Samuel, one of my winter hats, and I am still shivering!
And before I hear and snubs about being a baby, I’m not the only one! Jenny D has also complained about the cold, and I have seen several girls pass by with their winter hats on and carrying mugs of hot chocolate.
Well, back to the paper,
~ Alyssa
Happy things:
- My heating pad that I will snuggle up with tonight when I finally get to bed
- Quick conversations with Aunt Trudi
- In 17 minutes it will be 8 days until Daddy is waiting for me at the metro station and I will not have to think about papers

I researched and wrote a 5 page paper last semester in one night, I can write 10 pages by Tuesday... right? |
