My analysis teacher is so swamped with grant-writing/grading lower division class work (due before the Thanksgiving break) that he did two things that absolutely ROCK:
1) he made our third test a take home test which he will pass out AFTER the break
2) he made our next homework due TWO WEEKS from tomorrow- instead of being due tomorrow

yeah... we are ALL feeling it.
Holiday fever around the office. No one wants to do the homework. At least I am not alone.
I've read the first two Twilight books and Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot. I've been reading a lot when David works late and when no students show up to the MLC.
I'm trying to be patient when it comes to waiting for new library books. I don't want to give into the urge to BUY the books on my to-read list.

This is the first homework (this semester) I've decided is beyond my reach and have decided to wait and see the solution.
Too little brain power for the amount of work given... thus the escape of reading novels.
If I do not get a PhD in Mathematics or Math Education it will be due to the fact I hate homework... specifically... I hate DEADLINES on my learning. Sometimes I wish classes were a year long and I could go at my own (slow) pace.
UPDATE:
Good thing I didn't finish that one problem... it was ridiculous. |

I am disappointed with book 4. Books 5 "Perfect Fifths" doesn't come out until April, 2009. I will read it but if it ends up like this last one, then I won't be happy.
Looking forward to Twilight.
Mom, Dad, and Hunter read it out loud on their car trip (my library copy) and they said it was great.... MY TURN MY TURN!!!! |
