Jan's CA-125 count is down from 25 to 14 which is great and it could cut down on the number of chemo treatments she has to have. She is feeling great and is able to come to church regularly and even made it out to the New Year's Eve party...speaking of which... HAPPY NEW YEAR everbody!!! A new year is here so lets make the most of it :)

Jan's chemo treatment went extremely well and she was able to come home that day. She was tired, which was to be expected, but it was such a relief that all went well. Hopefully chemo will become easier and easier for everyone after a few successful treatments.

Jan had another doctors appointment and it went well. She will start chemo again on Thursday at 10 a.m. and they will be using Carboplaten (don't ask me what that is but it is supposed to help). They are trying to avoid using anti-nausea type medicines. Jan is extremely worried since her last reaction to chemo is fresh in her mind but we are trying to keep her spirits up. She has started coming to church on a regular basis and looks great!
Thanks for all the prayers,
Emily
Jan is continuing to improve and has made it to a few church services. It is so encouraging to see the answer to my prayers smiling as I walk in the church building!
Jan made it to church on Sunday night!!! She looked great but said that she felt very weak. I will update as soon as I can about her latest doctors appointment.
Stay strong in the Lord,
~Emily~
