i went to the astros game.. very awesome!! they kicked major tail.. get back to the car. walked around it, and didn't see any scratches. very awesome! a guy parked kinda close as we were walking away, and i was worried about him hitting the vue with his truck doors. opened up the back door and saw all the glass in the back seat and my purse dumped out all over the seat and floor. 500 thoughts at one time hit me.. mostly.. "are you kidding me!!!!" "man am i glad i took the handgun out right before i left the house!!" the officer told me that they dont take prints or anything like that off the car unless there was a gun involved or somebody hurt.
sooo.. when he was done directing traffic after the game he came over and filed a police report for me and the nissan murano seven cars over that had their back window busted out and the dodge charger that had their locks popped in the next lot over. they had a brand new baby stroller stollen. who steals from a baby?!?!
if you look at the time stamp.. you'll see i'm up still and it's really late.. karl's working a graveyard and they stole the gps outta the vue... the first setting is "home" and i'm.. "home" alone.. and every noise startles me. for not naturally being a jumpy person... tonight i sure am!!
OH NO! That is bad news. I remember them telling me to not give the address on how to get exactly to my house from my GPS for that very reason. I am sure you will be fine. They steal those typically to resale them and make some money!
So sorry to hear that. Man, people can really aggravate sometimes. I'm sure Carol's right about the GPS. It's all about the money. I know you are thankful for insurance. All will be good as new in no time.
wow, that's pretty scary! hope everything turns out ok. did you make sure to cancel the credit cards and all that good jazz? how much money did they get out of your purse?

things are slow again... wishin' for fishin'! so bored.. four day weekend coming up, and karly bob is workin'. pretty standard. friday afternoon fishin'. saturday night astros game!! sunday church. monday all day fishin'! yay!

new news.. no more house. we backed out of the deal on the house. we had it inspected.. always a smart idea!!.. and the inspector noticed a water line on the wall coming through the paint, and water seeping in through the brick... sooooo.. since there was nothing in the disclosure statement, and no telling how much damage there would be under the sheetrock we backed out.
that being said.. we're in the market for a house again!!! i really like house shopping, but i hate having to search them out. i want to tell somebody what i want, they find it, i look at it and if i like it put an offer on it!! i guess i dont really like shopping so much as just buying.. shopping involves soooo many things to do and take care of. it would be awesome to find a 2000 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, fairly new, open, split floorplan on the water, move in ready for around $130,000! not gonna happen.. but it would be nice! haha.. at 130 it'd be a steal!!!
I just had this same discussion with my mom today about shopping. We were clothes shopping though, not house shopping. I want it to be easy & simple. Good luck with the house hunting!

so yeah, joshua told me about the house the other day. sorry that didn't work out, but there's always a good reason for everything. just keep that in mind. does this mean that you'll be making a trip to virginia sooner rather than later, or is it postponed even further now? you can't keep playing with me woman! :-)

these are our going tubing down the guadalupe river outfits... except i wore shorts and a t-shirt, and karl had a shirt with his shorts.. and he had on a UT hat... oh.. and the cat and dog didn't go.. and ummm.. duncan would have been in my lap cause he's my sweet wittle boy!! and yes!! i did wear a cowboy hat down the river! i got a new one that matched my outfit! haha
excellent. i wanted to put the goatee on joshie's face, too, but it looked funny....so he's got the baby face instead. i did, however, put them in ut orange for a reason. :-)
soo.. there is news.. but it's not officially official yet. if that makes any sense. karl and i have put an offer on a house, it was accepted, now we're just waiting to close. the lady that's selling the house just lost her husband a week and a half ago, and we're giving her time to take care of everything before we close. since jack died this year we understand completely about everything that has to be done following a death with all the paperwork and such. sooo... we're probably going to close in august instead of july. which is fine with us since we're in no hurry to move furniture while it's hot outside or paint or put in new floors.. it's all good!!
soo.. now you all know, and are up to speed on the happenings in the parker house... i think. we've been so busy, and i can't seem to remember everything that's happened.
oooohh.. we are taking a vacation starting friday the 13th until sunday the 22nd!! not that we'll be gone the whole time.. only the 19th (OUR ANNIVERSARY!! 4 YEARS.. WOW!!) to the 22nd. we're gonna go tubing!! never been.. sounded fun.. so we're going!! yay for new experiences! oooh.. and shopping and hopefully some fishing and shopping and eating and shopping.. haha.. don't tell karl! j/k he knows!
gotta wrap it up... the dog just pottied in the dirty clothes hamper.. i gotta go clean, and gripe at the dog.
YAY for news. I am so happy for you guys. I know its not official yet but that is very sweet of you guys about taking time on things. I am sure the lady appreciates it a lot. I also was just thinking yesterday that yall's second anniversary is coming up. Time flies fast.
