We have no air conditioning!! It is 90 degrees in here!! The air conditioning folks won't be out here until Wed. Of all the days, this had to happen.....during Labor Day Weekend!! Stay cool :)
Thanks to the weather we have experienced in the last 2 weeks, we are getting 2 trees leveled and pruning another one. Heavy branches from one tree ruined our fence and we lost a heavy branch from a Bradford Pear tree...no damage, thank goodness. The only damage is to our wallet. I am in the wrong business!! The work will be done by next week.
WALL-E was awful. I actually thought I would leave the theater after 30 minutes but I was with the kids and Scott. Even Cayce was turned off by it because after one hour, she was ready to leave...."When will it be over? I want to go home." I must say that the movie did have a good message but I would have enjoyed it more reading about it on someone's blog. Save your money and wait until you can rent it.
too cute. i really look forward to seeing the kids (and y'all, of course!) in august, hopefully! i still haven't figured out when or how to get there because traveling is so $$$!
Our son goes to a Catholic school and on Friday he received the "Spirit of Holy Redeemer" award. It was presented in front of the whole school. He did not know. We found out 2 weeks prior so that we could make arrangements to be there at the ceremony. He was chosen by his teachers because of his good character and Catholic values he exhibited to his classmates and teachers this past school year. It is an award that we are very proud of!! During his grade level awards ceremony, he received the "Best Humor" "Perfect Attendance" and "Highest Academic Achievement" awards!! He had a fabulous year!!
i've done the cake balls before successfully, but not the pops. i plan to try it again with the pops and use more icing. i had a hard time getting the sticks to stay on. (btw, you can get all that stuff at joann's.) now that i've seen her on the martha show, i think i have a better technique. if you do, please sure photos!
