Our summer has flown by! We've had a visit from Shawn's parents, gone to San Antonio/Sea World a couple of times, had a great VBS week, gone swimming and spent lots of time with Aunt Julie while she was off for the summer. Now that summer is about over, we are looking forward to all fall has to bring...Our camping trip to the coast, Halloween!, birthdays for Alayna and Ashton and several friends, and Thanksgiving;) Bring it on! We love fall time!!
:) "Let them be little" is playing as I'm reading this. It makes me cry, Eden started preschool yesterday, now she seems so BIG! And both girls started soccer last night, Eric is the coach, man he wishes Shawn were here to help coach! Not a good bunch of dad's to choose from if you know what I mean...:)
hey! i was thinking i could leave here by 10. i know that is kinda late for most people, but as it is today, both girls are still sleeping and it's 10:32!! their days catch up with them. none of the kids need a nap. adeline should be fine till i get her around 2 or so. i was thinking i'd get them there around 10:30 and then be able to help J for at least a few hours. they would love a playdate. i don't want you to be thoroughly exhausted, though! let me know what kind of things for lunch i can send! OR it may be easier for me to just pack them a lunch?? they will eat anything, though. let me know what you decide. i will call you tomorrow. ;)
i have been asking J about your nap schedule for the kids and it sounds like it's just whenever. if you have a better time frame in mind just let me know! i can wake them up early and they do find, i just usually enjoy letting their little bodies rest to the fullest! ;)
There is not much going on here, but I'm tired of looking at my old post...do you ever get that way? Shawn found a church group to meet with while he was in San Antonio and he came home safe and sound. My sister has been out of school for summer and we have enjoyed seeing her several times each week and we will be sad when she goes back to work! We have VBS next week, so that will keep us busy and then that Friday we are going to head out to San Antonio (yes, again) and go to Sea World summer nights. So that should be fun! I guess that's about it for now. I know... not real exciting here in the Orthober house...but hey you can't be entertained all the time right!

sound fun! i thought about going to sea world summer nights....since it's sooo hot during the day. but dont know if we'll make it this summer. sometimes no excitement is a good thing!
Oh and I was wondering if in Sep or Oct you wanted to come with the kids and I to a pumpking picking place...I wanted to get pictures with all 4 of them with pumpkins or whatever but I will send you the info later on. Just think about it. I just want some pictures of all of them together.

There are several churches there in San Antonio. But I'm glad you posted this question because I've always wondered if there was a website like that too!
Well I am the directory for SA!! ;) He should meet with my family!! They are meeting once on Sun. morning at 10 and then eat following assembly!! They will be at my sister's house this week. There are about 30 people there. It's NW of town. There are some very North town and then some a bit more south...let me know if you'd like me to call you!! how neat!
I was thinking about that too, about Heath Ledger. I heard he got so into the role that he had to have therapy because he was having nightmares about it and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if that's why he had to take prescriptions for it. But then again, I have no clue. But he sure did play the creepiest character ever!
Hey, Jen! It was great to see you as well. One of the great things about being in the Christian family is that you just never know who you'll bump into when you're miles from home! I hope that the Lord continues to bless you and your beautiful family. Next time I see you guys, you'll probably have ten kids!
I didn't know you guys watched the Mole! I have one person on the top of my list and then 2 others I'm like "hmmm, maybe it's them". I like following it and trying to guess who it is. Glad I'm not the only one. :)
