We've started a young preacher's program. We've asked a young man from Fayetteville, Arkansas named Taylor Ladd to come work with us this summer. He really made an impression on me. As I was walking into the auditorium on his first day with us, he knew my name! Please pray for us while we strive to do God's will here in the upper midwest. kare_n_huggs Taylor's great. I was in Indiana visiting my grandfather last week in Indiana when I was awoken by a 5.2 earthquake in southern Illinois. It felt like a nice massage going down my body from the top of my head to my heels. No damage, just a little excitement. trashley You are too funny!  trolleem I heard about that! Less expensive than a massage too!  ajhkygirl Wow that does sound exciting! I have never been in a earthquake!  angiebrewer We slept through the whole thing. Everyone was talking about it the next day and I had no idea what had happened. My employer allowed the front end employees to come in a halloween costume. So I decided that I would be Joe Mauer. (He is the catcher for the Minnesota Twins. Sideburns and all!) Today, I had a customer suggest that I be traded to the Boston Red Sox so that I could win a World Series. Then a customer asked my manager for my autograph! I thought I was the "king of the world!" She told him that I was an employee. Ah shucks! I felt like I was a major league baseball player today. whipsmile i love the fact that you were a baseball player for halloween :)  trashley You should have had autographed pictures ready! :) Maybe you can do that next year!!!  trolleem Thanks for that memory! She slept most of the afternoon and evening Wed. Then stayed home from work Thurs and ended up sleeping most of the time. Then yesterday again, and today she went shopping mostly to get out of the house. Her side hurts where they did the surgery and radiation. They gave her a prescription and told her just hang in there.
