My brother, Alan, went to Stephen F. for part of his schooling. Momma and Daddy lived in a little apartment across from the campus when they first married.
I can't believe it's almost Christmas! I haven't got any of my shopping done but I hope I'll be able to do some over the weekend.
I'm so excited! Because tonight I'm going to a LAN party! I will spend all night playing Halo and Age of Empires. I guess I'm turning into a geekett. lol
Actually I had a blast last night! Of course I was a bit concerned when one of the guys wanted to install Alcohol into the computer I was using. But I soon discovered that it was a graphics program or something of the sort it was all good
"Alcohol 120%" is a CD/DVD burning and imaging program. and by imaging i don't mean graphics - it's basically ripping the entire contents of a disc into a single file on your computer. and then you can use programs like Alcohol 120% (or even Alcohol 52%, the lesser version which doesn't have the burning capability) to treat that image file as if it were the original disc inserted in your cd drive.
I've had this thing for like 5 months and I've only posted on it 3 times! A few of ya'll had been complaining about me not having a face book. And there's a reason why: I'll never take the time to post anything new.
Of course this could all change since my parents are getting me internet access in my room. OH YEAH! *Throws confetti in the air*
Of course, I will be only using the internet for educational purposes. (Yeah right!)
I suppose I should go read that book for history class I really have been procrastinating on reading it. But it's so boring! But I have a test on it Tuesday. So probably it's in the best interest of my grade point average to read it. *sighs*
I had my first college courses today! I've already figured out that my English course is probably going to be the hardest. My History should be a breeze though. I love my history teacher ,already (even though he's a democrat :-P) I also discovered he was a member of the liberal Church of Christ. It was evident he was liberal when he said that God didn't tell us the whole story of the earth and it's paossible he could have taken thousands of years to create the world.
Tonight we went to the White Oak congregation and heard an excellent sermon by Wayne Fancher on the importance of Worship in the Christian life. I enjoyed it alot! Because it was good old fashioned preaching. Guess that's all for now
Monday night several of the kids from Reel Road went to Judson Road and listened to Laurence Kelley preach. He had a great sermon on Confidence.
Mallory and Alina spent the night last night. And that is the last time I take Alina's advice for a movie. lol. JK. She suggested this movie called Blood of Beast. It was awful acting and so corny. We laughed all the way through it. Mallory's now got me hooked on jewlry making! We all made a couple of pieces. I like mine because they're in 4-H colors.
