Brian finally decided to join us.
btomlin I was going to try to link but I'll let you do the work. :)

One of the good people on here, sorry I forgot which one, posted info about ebates.com. We have been using them, when we remember, and today received a check for $40.42.
It's simple to do, just go to ebates.com, sign up and put in the email address of the person who referred you (if you want that person to get $10) and choose your store. You will see the % you get back on your purchases. That's it...ebates keeps up with your total and will mail you a check.
You will also get an additional $10 when you make your first purchase.
I will give you our email address privately if you choose to send $10 our way. If you know the original poster for this, I'm sure she (I do remember it was a woman) would appreciate the $10. :) |

We delivered Amanda to FC and made it home after spending quality time with the McKinney family, watching Alan race for the first time. YAY, Alan, congratulations on your win!
I enjoyed the service Sunday morning at TT. I got a little choked up at one point during the singing...most edifying.
I appreciate Don Truex's lesson...especially when he addressed remarks to encourage our children to make the right choices.
Amanda's room was a wreck when we left on Sunday afternoon but I'm hopeful she and her roommates will eventually find space for whatever they have in all those boxes, trunks and bags.
Everyone, please, remember to pray for those in the path of Fay. |

We are ready to leave for FC again. I'm afraid it won't be so easy to come home without her this time. |

I'm wondering if the people in the opening ceremonies would be better olympians than those competing. |

It's a vicious circle! I have spent all morning, and several hours last night, trying to make sense of my son's student loans. Should he consolidate, who should he go with? The only information I can get is a huge range of rates. Of course, it all comes back to the credit rating.
There is also something called "weighted" rates...news to me but I learned how it's done. I suppose an old dog can learn every now and then but it really hurts my head!
He is also considering buying a new truck. He wants to know how much his monthly payments for government and private loans will be before he can budget for a truck payment, not to mention insurance, taxes and the like.
I wish I could convince him to wait a few, or several months, to buy but you know how it is when you have the fever.
Anyone want to wade in with loan consolidation advice? |
