Just a thought....how about we pray for our new leaders. The facebook statuses, and pleonast posts I'm seeing about how doomed we are, and the put downs and insults on our new leaders, and basically the lack of faith in God, are almost frightening especially when I see they are all coming from fellow christians. Where is your faith in God in all of this? We should be praying in a time like this. And remember who we are to be serving....
I wish more poeple would look at it like ths. My last post was bitter when it shouldn't have been. I have been praying for Obama to make the right choics and to lead this country in the right way. You have a good point. And you haven't heard the expression "Don't have a cow"??? THats crazy lol!!!

So hey there ladies, dudes, whoever reads this thing. I've decided to update....even though I've thought about deleting my pleonast. So let's see, what's going on in my life? My brother got married back in August to Emily. Pretty much the best sister I could ask for. The day after that my dog Drago died from eating a tomato plant while I was on my way to Bowling Green....long story short, tomato plants and unripe tomatoes are deadly to dogs. It's about the same as if they ate rat poison. The new Anberlin cd came out on September 30th, on my moms birthday. I bet she was just as excited as I was...not really...The cd isn't as up beat as the Cities or Never take Friendship personal cds, but I still like it. The only song I didn't like on it was the first one, because it sounds too much like Yellow Card, and with the new record lable they are on...these guys worked with bands like Yellow Card, Fall out Boy...not so great bands basically. I'm getting more stuff for my drums...newer bigger drums, cooler, better stuff basically. I've been practicing every chance I get lately it seems to the point where I can't move my arms or legs because I'm so tired, but my endurance is getting better, as am I. So what else has been going on lately.... I went to Broadmoor the Sunday before this past one to the meeting. Hannah R my shooting star invited me. I've started working at Kroger for now. It's pretty cool for the most part. I get to work with some of my friends, and everyone there is nice to me. I've made a lot of friends there, and had some very...different...customers. One who bought almost $800 worth of groceries. I've learned to not even care when someone is rude to me now. I just take it and act polite to them. That's how we should be though, is it not? I'm seeing a lot of my friends turning for the worst now. Doing things they would have never done before, and accepting things that the bible doesn't approve of. I've tried talking to them, but they won't see the error of their ways...and they don't want to. But I do know that you can read scriptures to someone and study with them, and if they don't want to see it, or change....they won't. So pray for them you guys. It's crazy how I hear older people talk about how bad people are today. Just because things today are accepted, like dancing, mixed swimming, what is considered modest or not modest, euphanisms (those are basically words used in place of curse words, some of them that I hear the most are used instead of saying the Lord's name in vain, and then others to replace some of the most vulgar of cuss words. You can shoot a gun, but don't use the word in anger, because you know what it is replacing....you guys get the idea) but just because these things are accepted, does not make them right for us to do. And with modesty, we should should all think about that, even guys, but to dress in a way that will attract the least attention to yourself. Women lust after guys without shirts for a reason....and women should also think about how they dress when in public. My view is....modesty is the most attractive thing to me. I don't see looks at first anymore, but to me a Godly christian woman is more attractive than anything. My dad talks about preachers who "would come out of their graves" if they saw and heard things going on today, and the more I hear and see these things the less I want to be around a lot of these people. Hmm, what else is going on... The election is coming up..obviously lol. Neither men are really fit to run our country, and both seem to be very deceitful. Mccain and his running mate have lied numerous times, Mccains wife owns a beer company not really a christian family....neither are, but base your decision on who you think would be the better person for our country, and not because of racist views towards Obama, or that for those who think he is a terrorist. It's sad, that I'm seeing many christians dreading the fact that we may have a black president. They despise him, some admit because of his color, some won't admit it so I won't make so I won't assume anything on their part. The point is, whoever wins we should support them. No let's not support what they do that goes against God's will, but support the other things....because they will be our leader for the next four years. Maybe it is far fetched...but I see another Kennedy....When I say that I mean if Obama wins....racist riots, assassination of him, and the country basically going crazy, that along with our already bad economy from the president before. It seems far fetched....but it may have seemed far fetched before Kennedy also. On a random note, I'm addicted to beef Jerky.... And also random, but I've never missed certain people as much as I am now. I never thought it would be like this. So, other things....I'm getting a new German Shepherd puppy, and I'm pretty excited. It won't be born until probably Feb of 09 though..and it is going to cost me about $1,500, but I'm going to have to make a deposit soon to reserve one already....or else I won't get one. This will be my future competition for Schutzhund..or if America finally gets the KNPV going here, for it instead. KNPV is basically a sport for the crazy police dogs as I always call it. Very intense stuff... The sire is one of the top competition dogs from the Czech Republic, and is a dog with probably the most pronounced fighting drive ever seen. He literally has bone breaking hard bites, and he really puts up a fight against the "helper" or the bad guy, in a competition. The female of the future litter is also a well known dog, but from Slovakia. I want a male though. Since I haven't posted pictures in a long time on here I'll post a picture of "Mambo z Pohranicni Straze" and Fatyma....that's their names...And to go along with the dog stuff.. I'm hoping to move to Bowling Green in the next couple of years, and plan to be either an Animal Behaviorist (like Victoria Stillwell, or the Dog Whisperer) or a K9 handler for the police department. Oh well, that's about it you guys.

Honestly, I (personally) don't know a single Christian who would not vote for Obama based on his color. Most I know who would not vote for him would go that route due to his extremely liberal stance on abortion and some things like that.
I think I would be an absolutely pathetic human being if I chose a candidate based on color, and I'm sad to think that there are Christians out there who would do so. But life is like that sometimes, and you really do have to choose a candidate based on your own research and knowledge, and not just what the mass media is choosing to share with you.
once again, someone jumps on me about 'history will teach us nothing.' try to read into it a litle bit. the point of that quote (which is from a former hit song by Sting) is that we learn nothing from history. many times we don't listen to the advice of others or pay attention to history....thus, it teaches us nothing...besides the fact that we have to learn things for ourselves...etc etc. I'm not talking about the Bible here.

Obama has a huge list lol. and i dont think that republican is only what a Christian should vote! i believe that McCain will follow Gods laws moe than obama will. as for him and his marriage thats news to me but i still think jis conomic plan is better as well.
