Hey I hope everyone is having a great day! We had a great trip with the grandkids in florida. Here is some photos to share with everyone!
and the second set is some random older ones
So next week we're going to BG because Tim's dad is doing some lectures or something there... and work actually gave me time off. I'll get my new schedule *next* thursday (the 26th) we should plan to do something once I know what my schedule looks like! Is any day during the week ok for you guys (other than wednesday)?
How much is admission? I'll talk to Tim, and see if I can get mom and dad to go with us. how soon do you need to know? will greg and andrea be able to join us? :)
I think the place is just called "Treasures." You just take 35 all the way. It is near the middle of town. It is a brick building on the right. Barney's is right across the street and is pretty obvious with it's bright blue trim. (Besides, you need to stop there for ice cream.) Before you get there, there is also a great little tea room on the right.
:) yup. School starts on monday. (I love this song!!!) I'm really excited at the idea of wearing scrubs to work! lol
Actually, I was going to walmart today and they were having a blood drive... it really intrigued me for working with the Red Cross. :) I'd get to travel around a bit.
Hey! How are you? I haven't talked to you in a while... Mom and I are planning on getting a sunday off together so we can come visit you guys!!! I think she wanted to be up there for sunday morning. I'm not sure when, I think it's at the end of this month. I'll have to double check with her again. Hope you guys are doing well!! Tell greg and andrea I said hi!!!!
I still have a TON of work to do here clearing fallen trees and have a number of other folks who have asked... otherwise, I'd stop by and help clean up your street, too!
Good! I'm so glad that you got the power back on!!! So, does that mean we're good for sunday? Mom wanted me to contact you and see if we were good even if you weren't at home, because we were planning on being there for morning services, go out to lunch with you guys, and then go to the evening worship. We can't stay the whole day, mom's got to work monday and says that she shouldn't stay out too long because she'll need her rest. :) Call me when you get this (or write me) to let me know that everything is good for sunday. :)
Hi! Rats!!! I'd love to see you....anyway...go here and you can get directions...http://lowerrichlandchurch.org/ Also Bible study is 10 and worship @ 11 AM. Happy ThanksgibinG! Love the song on your blog!! :)
And thanks :) It was a fun dream. i'm good. Hanging in there. Tim and I have been sick this weekend though :( I think mine was more allergies, I think he has a head cold. :( We have been planning on coming up there some sunday. ;) It'd be fun... Mom and I have also been talking about having you and Andrea come down some friday or saturday in May (after school is over for me) so that she can have her jewlery show. :)
Great playlist! We're doing well... just trying to get the barn finished as we're getting our first lamb this weekend, we already have 34 chickens, I need to plant our fruit trees, and I need to get the ground tilled for our first garden here (we're starting small, it'll only be about 45'x50').
Hi jan. Funny thing I had been thinking of you before you even wrote on Cindy's blog. Wondering where you are. Thought maybe Ind. still? Guess not.i'm in Utah w/ Dawn, my oldest. Send me your email
I Jan, Glad to know you. We love that Donna & Steve. I will tell Betty I heard from you. She doesn't have a computer but if you want to send her a note I'll be glad to give it to her as she lives across the street from my sister, who isn't computerized either, or I can give her a note at services anytime. We are having great weather here today. Supposed to get to 80 by evening. Take care
We will be in Cinci sometime this week. If you are interested in Izzy we could bring her with us and meet somewhere for you to check her out, and take her home with you if you like her :o) No biggy though if you aren't ready. We aren't far from Cinci and wouldn't mind another nice little day trip to bring her down for you to meet her another day.
I know!! We have the pool open up at my mom's... maybe you two could come (Girls day!!!) and we can go swimming? ... if you dont like swimming that's ok. But, mom and I usually wear just a t-shirt and shorts anyway :)
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve,
I was made weak, that I might humbly obey.
I asked for health, that I might do greater things,
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy,
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men,
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life,
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am among all men, most richly blessed.

We walked beside the sea,
After a day which perished silently
Of its own glory---like the Princess weird
Who, combating the Genius, scorched and seared,
Uttered with burning breath, 'Ho! victory!'
And sank adown, an heap of ashes pale;
So runs the Arab tale.
The sky above us showed
An universal and unmoving cloud,
On which, the cliffs permitted us to see
Only the outline of their majesty,
As master-minds, when gazed at by the crowd!
And, shining with a gloom, the water grey
Swang in its moon-taught way.
Nor moon nor stars were out.
They did not dare to tread so soon about,
Though trembling, in the footsteps of the sun.
The light was neither night's nor day's, but one
Which, life-like, had a beauty in its doubt;
And Silence's impassioned breathings round
Seemed wandering into sound.
O solemn-beating heart
Of nature! I have knowledge that thou art
Bound unto man's by cords he cannot sever---
And, what time they are slackened by him ever,
So to attest his own supernal part,
Still runneth thy vibration fast and strong,
The slackened cord along.
For though we never spoke
Of the grey water anal the shaded rock,---
Dark wave and stone, unconsciously, were fused
Into the plaintive speaking that we used,
Of absent friends and memories unforsook;
And, had we seen each other's face, we had
Seen haply, each was sad.
Let others lead small lives,
but not you.
Let others argue over small things,
but not you.
Let others cry over small hurts,
but not you.
Let others leave their future
in someone else's hands,
but not you.

Hi! It was fun hanging out with Andrea at FC. I really need to keep better in touch with my long distance friends. It would be really cool to have blonde moments with Andrea again. (ask her about all girls being blondes)
:) I wished I could have made it to the singing but we couldnt. Thank you for the invitation, though and hopefully we'll be able to make it to the next one! :) How did it go?
