I added some pictures of the new house to the gallery. I'm not really sure what everything is, but you should be able to figure it out.
Olivia is letting me know she is hungry. Maybe I can write more later.
Here is a front view.

Well, we are at the end of our four day trip to Missouri. It has had some highs and lows, as any trip can have. Does anyone know how hard it is to find a house on a level lot in the St. Louis area?! However, after lots of silent prayers on both Kevin's and my part while driving around town, we have been able to find a home for our family to move to. The best thing is it is perfect for allowing the kids to be kids and play outside without worry. (After the fence is up) Bonus - the size, price and the views are amazing!
I'll update more later with a picture or two. Right now I have to feed Olivia before we have to check out of the hotel.
Love to you all! |

What a whirl-wind the last 36 hours have been! We now have another beautiful little girl in our lives to love. The older ones have enjoyed having a live baby doll to hold and love on. And, with having family in, it has been easy for Kevin and I to take it easy.
I'll give you the run down on the labor and delivery. We went in on Friday morning and I was admitted around 10. At 10:30, the doctor broke my water and then I waited for all the bags of fluids to be pumped into my body. I received my epidural after all necessary fluids were in and labor commenced. At about 1:45 I realized there was a lot of 'pressure', and asked to be checked. I was 8 cm and complete at that time. The nurse was nice enough to practically stand me up in my bed to get the baby to move down. At 2 o'clock, I realized the 'pressure' I was feeling was really my labor pains. I told Kevin to get the nurse and let her know I needed to be checked again. (10 cm at that point.) Nurse went to get the doctor. Then I let Kevin know (very sweetly, btw) that I needed to push. The doctor came in hurridly getting into his gear. As soon as he was in place and my next contraction started, I began to push. Total of 1 contraction, 3 pushes, and 1 non-functional epidural later, we had a beautiful little girl.
Official Stats
Name: Olivia Emerson Wise
Weight: 8 lbs 15 oz (yes, that is big)
Length: 21 inches
Time: 2:17 pm
I am feeling GREAT! I would never choose to go without the epidural, but I'm not that upset that it didn't work. It gave me A LOT more ensentive to push and I think my recovery has been much better and quicker.
Olivia is such a good little baby. She seems very content at this point and enjoys cuddling in for burping.
We were both doing so well that the doctors let us go after 24 hours and it is very nice to be home in our own space.
Here are a few picture of the newest addition.
Gretchen didn't want to hold her because of her belly button :)
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and well wishes. I'll let you know how easy/hard it is getting adjusted to having 4. :)
Have a wonderful rest of the day! |

Nothing happened in the middle of the night, as far as labor, so we will be headed to the hospital at 9. I'm ready to get it all over with and meet this new little one. One of the ladies I know went into labor last night, so that will be fun seeing her newest one, also.
We'll try to update as we can. |

Well, there are plenty of changes going on in our lives, but no real changes from last week's appointment. I am now measuring between 40 and 41 cm, so we will see on Friday if that makes for a larger baby or just a lot of fluid. :)
I'm hoping things go as smoothly with this one as it has the other 3. We'll update with pictures as soon as we can.
Other things going on in our little world. Kevin sent in his official acceptance of the job in St. Louis. His starting date will be November 17th. I'm hoping we will be able to get a lot of the details worked out next week while the older girls are gone. Talking without interruption.....
Keep us in your prayers. There is so much going on right now, but we are doing well at taking things one at a time.
