Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
....for all the music. I managed to get a few songs out of that little transaction (*cough* about 200 *cough*).
I found a cool band that a dude on Runescape mentioned, called Scar Symmetry. Good stuff, if you like Cookie Monster vocals. xD
Nickelback got a new album out. I spent a few minutes compiling a list of good and bad songs. ;D
Nickelback's Dark Horse Album
Bad Songs:
Something In Your Mouth
Burn It To The Ground
Next Go Around
Just To Get High
Shakin' Hands
______ ( title edited )(obvious reasons if you saw it)
This Afternoon
Good Songs:
Gotta Be Somebody (one bad word)
I'd Come For You
If Today Was Your Last Day
Unknown: ( the stream wouldn't load )
Never Gonna Be Alone
So, pretty much, another disappointment from Nickelback. This was even worse than All The Right Reasons.
As to what else has been going on in my life, not much. I'm getting a new math curriculum soon. I chat, a lot. Runescape, I've almost caught up with Torin and Tarin in combat level, but they have much higher skills. ;P
We'll be in Florida for Thanksgiving. We leave next Tuesday, and get back the Monday after that. =]
You know I really like Nickelback's good songs and it is so annoying that they have to produce trash, too...But, I'm glad to see your discernment skills working ;)
I decided upon this after looking at my song plays.
Here's an example. I listened to This Moment by Disturbed (it's from the Transformers soundtrack, exclusive to the movie soundtrack it seems.) an incredible 230 times in the last month.
Better yet, I've listened to my favorite all time song, Numb by Linkin Park, almost 1000 times in the last month.
So, I have come to the conclusion that I need new music.
Please post any of YOUR favorite songs. I'm willing to listen to almost anything but Country, Black Metal, and Rap. I can't stand any of those three types of music. Most anything else is ok.
On another note, life is continually moving on. I can't believe the way time moves so fast. I remember thinking that it would be ages before HS Camp, yet, it has come and gone.
Schoolwork continues, just as annoying as ever. I took the PSAT a few weeks ago, and we're expecting the results soon. Those will probably end up either making me feel smart, or very very stupid. :P
So, election day is tomorrow. Who does everyone think is going to win at this point? I personally think Obama will carry the election, yet, I hope that McCain will.
So, to my Heirs buddies, who all is going to be at the Thanksgiving celebration Thursday? :P
HAHA. My friend Reggie Had the worst time.... He Almost had a Heart attack.. I mean I love music, But it is good to have a break from it... But Now that I am back home I can't get my headphones out of my ears!!
As it was supposed to *grins mischievously* Let's just say this is revenge for creeping me out once :P Not outrightly from you, but from word from someone else :P:P
Only if you don't believe in any of the candidates. The point is, a lot of people are voting for McCain because they think "at least he's not Obama", not because they really want him. I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin, not because I think he can win, but because I believe he should win.
eh? what picture? my blurb pic? It's off of a website... I'm not even to sure of how it made its little way to our computer... hold on a sec and I'll get the web name...
Well, unlike McCain and Obama, he genuinely wants to reduce the size of the federal government. He takes the tenth ammendment seriously. That's the one that says, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Since the Constitution gives no authority for federal education, for instance, Baldwin would eliminate the Department of Education and return control of education to the states. This would also reduce taxes (since money gets wasted if it has to be sent to Washington and then back to the states), improve the quality of education (since the federal government is too remote to effectively govern education for all fifty states, and the needs of individual states too diverse), and give people more control over their education (since they would only have to appeal to the state government, not the federal government).
He would also greatly decrease federal spending, and move to repeal the 16th ammendment, thus eliminating the income tax (which is unfair, and would be unnecessary if the goverment were no longer spending such ridiculous amounts). He would secure our borders and get rid of abortion. Above all, he respects the limits of the law and the freedom of the people, both of which have been abused over the past eight years, and both of which will likely continue to be abused under either Obama or McCain.
Yeah, I'd like to see him or someone like him win in a few years. But the only way that's going to happen is if we start supporting these people now, which is why I'm voting for him.
1. My favorite animal is the Dragon. Yes. A dragon is an animal. I have scripture references to prove it. >=)
2. I enjoy Scrabble. Possibly the only board game I enjoy. If it's played with allowance of real words only. I hate getting beaten by 2 points when someone puts down something like Un. o.O
3. My favorite dessert is a New York Style Cheesecake. With normal crust. None of that abominable oreo junk.
4. I don't really like being in photo's. Ya know? Some stalker could get a hold of it and add it to his collection of a piece of your hair, an old toothbrush, and your burger wrapper, and wallah! Your identity is stolen. :P
5. I do not have my drivers license or even permit. ;P
6. I have never dated.
7. My deepest darkest secret.... I actually enjoy some pop music. :O The horror! :O
8. I'm a geek. I always have been. Probably always will be. I once had all 493 pokemon memorized and could recite them in alphabetical order. THAT is the mark of a true geek. :P
Lol and I thought you didn't even bother to read my posts at all xD And for Saw, well, I didn't really watch any of them but I heard more than enough from my friend Clem, who's seen both 4 and 2. Saw 5 came out not too long ago...and I don't plan on watching it :P I'm not into rated R gory movies, just horror movies :P
Many many people playing soccer. Probably 40 or so at once. Someone called it herdball, which was quite true. :P Quite a hilarious sight. One person kicks off the ball, all the rest swarm it. xD
Him get chased by a crowd of little kids waving sticks and other utensils of pain. ;P
Otherwise, I played a lot of volleyball, which I need practice in, ate very little, hiked some, listened to a type of music called barbershop, played Do You Love Your Neighbor, played Wink (possibly the dumbest game ever made, that is open to discussion tho), cooked a lot of sausage, slept very little, and otherwise, had a great time!
Summonings can be worth it, but only if you are patient and willing to use the summons that use more djinn, like Judgement, Catastrophe, and the like.
Keep in mind that every enemy you face is aligned to a certain element. If an enemy is aligned with Fire, than he will take less damage from fire attacks and more from Water. Something like that. Summoning works the same way- find the enemies weakness and exploit it.
Recovery time is a heavy issue, but it's just another step in the cycle.
Attack with Djinn
-
Summon with Djinn
-
Djinn Recover
-
Repeat Attack with Djinn.
Practice enough and you will come up with a cycle that will both guard and heal your troops, and damage the enemy. Your cycle will get interupted every now and then, but that's why you have psynergy and mist potions. =P
Green Day, Nickel Creek, Enya, Hawk Nelson, Celtic Thunder, The Killers, Simon and Garfunkle, Billy Joel, lots of other oldies that I forget right now, Relient K, Bond, Evanescence, Libera boys choir, soundtracks to all my favorite movies, The Proclaimers, Queen, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, O-Zone, Superchic[k], They Might Be Giants, Coldplay, the Cheiftans, classical music, anything celtic, Nickelback, Linkin Park... and I like a whole bunch of random songs from a bunch of different artists whose names I never remember.
Well, there is that... But I also can serve ridge-handed, and knife-handed, and punching, and using a hammerfist, and a backfist... and with my elbow. ;P But that's because of Taekwondo. For some unknown reason, I did get better at it since the last time I'd played before last week. :P Still not too great at it though, which is why I need work, at least I do if I want to get better... =P
As long as I angled it right, that one was quite easy to do. Tossing it up and knife-handing it probably was the hardest to do... I only managed to do it well once I think. =P I found overhand it be quite easy to do, though underhanded is a bit more sure, I think. I just realized that I don't think I tried ridgehanding it out of the air... =P
A ridgehand is when you strike with the inside edge of you hand, the thumb side (though you tuck the thumb out of the way. Kind of opposite to doing a knife-hand.
