There is an EXTREME amount of scientific research that debunks the theory of man driving climate change (it's called change now because we haven't been warming for 10 years). However, the most appalling aspect of the "the debate is over about GW" people is their absolute arrogance as creations in the face of the creator. The following quote is from CNN Meteorologist Chad Meyers. If you substitute "God" for "Mother Nature" I concur with him whole-heartedly.

“You know, to think that we could affect weather all that much is pretty arrogant,” Myers said. “Mother Nature is so big, the world is so big, the oceans are so big – I think we’re going to die from a lack of fresh water or we’re going to die from ocean acidification before we die from global warming, for sure.” |

The video you can watch by following the link provided here will answer all but one of the following questions. The video is about one hour and 15 minutes, but worth the time. Much like Ben Stein's "Expelled," your children won't likely see this video in school anytime soon. In my opinion, the 'scientific research' that is being driven by the United Nations is just one more in a long line of reasons for the U.S. to kick the UN out!

What role did British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher play in the global warming scare?
Does Al Gore's claim in "An Inconvenient Truth" that CO2 increases cause global temperature increases hold water?
Why does the co-founder of Greenpeace call 'global warming environmentalists' 'anti-human?'
How does the myth of man-made global warming affect third-world countries and their impoverished peoples?
Does Al Gore's own flatulence influence the weather?
Is Global Warming a way to scientifically create anti-Americanism?
What factors CAN be proven as climate influencers?
Is there a link between 'global warming' and increases in hurricanes?
Enjoy the video.

From a recent AP article on BHO's short-window to 'fix' global warming:
"Ironically, 2008 is on pace to be a slightly cooler year in a steadily rising temperature trend line. Experts say it's thanks to a La Nina weather variation. While skeptics are already using it as evidence of some kind of cooling trend, it actually illustrates how fast the world is warming."
And generally, these are the same people who think we're stupid for believing in a creator.

I find it interesting to read the last statements of death row prisoners. Mainly, I find it interesting that there are some who are defiant until death...claiming innocence despite mountains of evidence against them. I also wonder who of those might actually have been innocent - as no one claims that our legal system is perfect...or that any judge is perfect, save God.
I also find it interesting - and encouraging - to find those who admit their guilt, and pray (like all of us sinners) for forgiveness with the utmost humility facing their own judgment.
But every once in a while - as poor taste as it may be for me to chuckle - I find some of the last statements to be nothing short of hilarious.
This is one of them:
"Please tell the media, I did not get my Spaghetti-O's, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know."
-- Thomas Grasso, executed in Oklahoma on March 20, 1995
By all means - alert the press that you didn't get Chef Boyaredee as your last meal. Hope you didn't preempt saying 'bye' to your family due to such an important announcement.
And can I get an 'Amen' for the last statement of this man:
"All I have to say is if more parents would raise their children in God-fearing homes, maybe some of them wouldn't end up in the position I'm in."
-- John Sterling Gardner, executed in North Carolina on October 23, 1992 |
