i have been so busy lately! hopefully it will settle down around here so i can have some free time!
this week i finished almost all of my xmas shopping so thats good. although spending so much money isnt good considering my rent is due tomorrow and i dont exactly have it all :( i have a nice wonderful mommy though who will let me pay her back :)
tonight i work 6:30 to close a the theatre. tomorrow i am going to check out beauty schools in the area and hopefully get a good idea of how to go about applying and such. then i work 5:30 to close and then tuesday...
getting my wisdom teeth out!!!!!!!!!!! :(
very very expensive and painful but alas it needs to happen.
so i will be drugged up and miserable for a few days.
I get on pleo at least once a day to read peoples posts but never write my own. weird.
anyway, i have been busy but bored for the past few days. thanksgiving was fine. we went to my moms friends house and it was delicious but then i had to work :(
i'veworked every night since then but i had tonight off and went to lucy's moms house to visit. yes we're grownups but we still go stay with our moms sometimes!!! :)
ALSO in muuuch more important news, my roommate sara gave me the last 2 books of the twilight series for xmas and she just HAD to give them to me early and i don't blame her. she gave them to me saturday night and i've already finished the third and have about 100 pages left of the 4th. i have completely devoured them but its sad because after i'm done i have nothing left to read! i'm almost worried about how obsessed i was with twilight fora minute there.. haha
i saw it 4 times in the week it was out, BUT the theatre i work at is getting it friday so i wasted alllll kinds of money when i could have just waited and seen it for free. the movies in the town over costs 9.50 for adults, 7.00 for matinee and 6.75 for kids.
the theatre i work at is 3.50 for kids,students, and matinee and 5.00 for adults.
gas is 1.89 at home. amaaazing!
i'm in richmond,va at the moment visitng some friends that go to school here. its so different than home. its alive and bright and people are always out. i love the atmosphere here. its truly...bustling.
i drove here. mapquest said 3 hours 40 minutes. it took us 5. we got soooo lost. i have never been so frustrated. the only thing i dont like about it here is that people are really rude when they drive. NO ONE would let me get into their lane for over 30 minutes. but it all worked out, we are here safe and sound.
yesterday we just explored the city. we ate at a restaurant called the village and it was delish. then we went to our friends' friend's apartment and hung out. then we walked some more and ate again haha :)
we came back to estee's ( my friend) dorm/apartment and watched a movie and then went to bed around 2:30. its noon and we're just now getting moving. we are lazyyy!
anyway, i'm sure we'll head off to get something to eat and then go to the hollywood cemetery and then some shopping. i am NOT looking forward to the drive back. i know its just sitting but its exhausting!
